I was happy with the hotel (which I have been walking past for over 20 years) but was a bit disappointed that my Double Room seemed to be quite tiny and smaller than others in the hotel; the booking process was a bit confusing, it seems there are other rooms which are singles but actually larger. I booked the room in haste and didn't realize it was substandard to the rest, it was fine for one night but not extremely impressive, and the drainage in the shower was not working well and the shower started to flood the bathroom floor.

Overall hotel met our needs. Location was convenient, bed was good. Some might say that new pillows might be in order but less filling was good for me since I prefere thin pillows. Customer service at the reception depended a lot on the employee. From all we got help when asked though. Person on evening shifts on 13.8. and 14.8. was very service oriented and made us feel welcome. Our thanks for him (don’t remember the name). In other times we felt quite ignored by reception, no greeting or anything. So maybe pay attention to that in the future. Breakfast was good, nothing special but all that we needed. Good air conditioning was a big plus in hot summer days.

My stay at Mercure was cut short due to travel delays, but the 24/7 service was helpful to call and ensure my room was held for me. Staff were very lovely. I had lost my luggage on my flight and they accepted it and placed it in my room while I was out which was so nice to return to. Breakfast was also amazing and had so many options to choose from, I was extremely satisfied. Room accommodations were not as great. There was no conditioner in my shower or bar soap. No usb plug in to charge phones (not helpful for international travellers who do not have the EU wall plug), tv was only cable and did not have smart TV options to cast from your phone or sign in to Netflix, only one duvet provided and no other blankets, and no where to prop suitcase open (like a table or suitcase holder) so everything stayed on the floor.

Loved staying at Mercure Muenchen City Schwabing. A warm welcome from the staff when checking in, with a great explanation about where to find our room. The room was nice, large enough, with all the amenities promised. We had decided to upgrade to have a small refrigerator, which was great. Really nice bed, TV, and Wifi that worked well, and a great bathroom. There's a reason why we like to stay at Mercure. We didn't avail the breakfast, so can't comment, but while in a somewhat quiet location, you really are only a short distance away from a great area for bars and restaurants (and only a few stops from the city center). Really convenient for access to the English Garden, and we actually preferred a more relaxed atmosphere. Easy to recommend.

had an outstanding stay at Mercure Muenchen City Schwabing. Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location with easy access to public transportation. The highlight of my stay was one exceptional staff member whose name I unfortunately forgot. I only remember that he is a Barcelona fan. He went far beyond what anyone would expect. He introduced the hotel, explained all the available services, showed me how to reach the city center, how to use the metro and public transportation, and made sure I understood everything clearly. He treated me as if I were a guest in his own home rather than in a hotel. His kindness, professionalism, warm hospitality, and genuine care made my stay unforgettable. Employees like him are a true asset to the Mercure brand. I sincerely wish him all the success and happiness in his career. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again whenever I visit Munich.

I stayed a night for BTS concert. The usual price is around 80-90 eur per night, but it was over 300 eur only for 2 nights exactly when BTS concerts took place. I think it's a little bit rip-off to be honest. I'm aware that the price fluctuate upon events and seasons, however it was utterly overpriced. The staffs at the reception desk were very friendly and helpful, much appreciated. As for a room, both side desk lamps didn't work (maybe i couldn't find a way to switch on...but i tried everything possible). The room didn't have an usb charging port and refridgelator that it was a bit disappointing. The breakfast was good enough, tidy and kind staffs. In all, I was expecting much more because other Mercure hotels are in general much better.

This is a very nice place to stay. The rooms are nicely setup and comfortable. All of the front desk personal we interacted with were excellent and get tops marks for customer service. The only item I missed in our room was a little refrigerator (the weather was very hot during our visit) but I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to friends and family. Our room was kept clean by the hotel staff.

The hotel is good in general but the AC in my room was not working which made for a very unconfortable night. I asked the recepction in the morning if they could send someone to check it but when I came back late - there was no one at the reception nd the AC was still not working :(
