Great hotel in good location with lovely pool!

We wanted to stay somewhere that had a trendy vibe, modern rooms, a swimming pool and good service within easy reach of the city and the Novotel ticked all the boxes. Nice quiet location over looking the river with parking but could walk into York within 5-10mins. Staff very friendly and attentive at check in/out and breakfast time. We made sure to book the pool in advance (as had been advised on their website) which we used twice during our stay. Would definitely recommend and we would certainly return when next visiting York.

The hotel was in a great location, very comfortable and the food was good. Maybe it would be better ithere was a ready and waiting porridge pot at breakfast, but overall the weekend was enjoyable and we all had a good time.

Good location, clean, lovely swimming pool, nice breakfast, staffs are amazing. Overall, I am happy. Please secure the hanging bedside shelves, those are dangerous especially if staying with kids, it fell on my child's head, glad that she's okay.
