A good double room for me and my friend. The bathroom was a bit outdated (not as modern as the rest of the room or hotel) but otherwise good. We would have liked a mini fridge in our room to keep our bottles chill. Our booking included breakfast which was very nice and simple, we enjoyed it. On our last day we received a packed breakfast because of our early check out, and that was also good and generous. The hotel location is very good, almost completely in the city center, and very close to Ulm Hauptbahnhof, the trams and buses. The staff was overall welcoming and helpful.

I stayed in Ibis Ulm City for 3 weeks. The room was satisfactory, but I was disappointed by the overall experience. The average rate I paid was almost €100 per night, which is quite expensive for an Ibis hotel. I later found that the price was significantly lower when booking through ALL Accor. Considering the length of my stay, I expected the hotel to offer a more competitive rate or at least consider a price adjustment, but they did not. Communication was also difficult because most of the staff did not speak English. One staff member treated me in an accusatory manner, which made me feel very uncomfortable. I was told this was because of a previous experience, but I don't think that justified the way I was treated. I asked several times to speak with the manager, but my requests were not accommodated. I also submitted a written complaint and requested a price adjustment due to my three-week stay, but I never received any response. Unfortunately, the lack of customer service and communication overshadowed what was otherwise a satisfactory room. I would not choose to stay here again.
