We use this hotel due to its close to Eurotunnel(1 hour drive).Small but comfortable rooms,recently refurbished.Comfortable bed.A new television system,could I suggest some instruction sheet as the remote has few operating symbols and on arrival the previous occupant had been watching Dutch TV.It took us about 30 minutes to find a French speaking channel!

We struggled to find the entrance to the hotel as it is very close to a hospital/clinic, but once located the staff were very welcoming. The menu for Dinner was a delight and the breakfast generous. My one gripe? We had a room with disabled shower wet room that that’s the farthest it could be from reception - a very long walk for someone with mobility issues!

I’ve stayed here every years bar the pandemic years. Great location, lovely restaurant and simple rooms. First two still apply. The rooms have had every little bit of comfort and homeliness stripped out of them to the point where not only is it impossible to use your own hairdryer but it’s not even possible to charge a phone or tablet. Next year, for the first time, I’ll be looking at what else is around the area.
