This hotel was ideally located for our trip back to the Eurotunnel. Mers-les-Bains is a beautiful seaside town which we'd have spent more time in if we'd been able to. The hotel staff were very welcoming and kind. The rooms are compact but quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with so much choice for everyone.

This hotel is perfect for an overnighter on the way to your destination. Relatively clean and we have stayed here before. We would stay here again for an overnighter stay again if appropriate. The car park had plenty of space but was quite full the next morning as we left so try and get there around 4.30-5.00pm ish and you’ll have the pick of the car park. The Ibis Budget are exactly what you would expect - relatively cheap, small rooms, with th me family room having one bunk bed over the double bed. You do have to make your own bunk bed though with the sheets provided. I wouldn’t say it was spotlessly clean, but the sheets were clean and the majority of the room was clean too.

It is a shame you can not get a cup of tea or coffee in the morning to enjoy because of the breakfast service. I did not want breakfast but I would have enjoyed a cup of tea but was told not possible due to cleaning and breakfast.
