room 312 shower temperature not stable, shifting all the time from the right temperature to too hot to too cold. Nice curtains but light came in from the top which woke me up before 06:00 every day. There were apples at the entrance hallway when I arrived, which was a pleasant surprise, but when I came back at late night and I expected I could take an apple they were gone and the person at reception didn't know about them having been there.

This Ibis is right next to the Cathedral!! Can't do better. I was concerned at first that it might get a bit noisy, but nope, sound proofing is top notch. Friendly staff, nice breakfast - and a door straight into the Hauptbahnhof. When I'm back in Koln, this is where I'll stay.
