Great location, right inside train station, very convenient. But Ibis standards : tiny room, little space for luggage, tiny bathroom. Minimum comfort, but adequate for 2 nights

When you book Accor Ibis, you know what to expect : the bare essentials. That is what you get in Ibis Koeln Am Dom : smallest possible room, tiny bathroom (with cupboard-size shower), no extras. But everything is clean, functional, adequate. Plus, the staff are friendly and you cannot beat the location : virtually inside the train station, adjacent to the Dom and walking to Old City and Rhine River. Good value for money for a short stay.

As the saying goes…”Location, location, location”. This hotel is in a fantastic location. We had partial view of cathedral from the room, and we could walk there in 5 min. Main train station right next door. Restaurants, shopping, and museums are close. The Rhine River is an easy walk. The room was clean and had all the basics. They even squeezed in a desk/chair which was nice. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
