be careful with giving a deposit

Be very careful here with giving a deposit. I gave a deposit, then they wrongfully charged expenses, when I informed them (assuming a simple error) they do not reply and to date I have not received my money back. I am now thinking this is a deliberate act! Rooms basic but OK Location is ideal between Heathrow and city centre. The neighbourhood itself has nice shops and restaurants.

Stayed two nights in this hotel in cold November. It is a short walk from the undergound station. Had to take the lift up one floor for check-in. Check-in was supposed to be easy and straightforward but the check-in staff was interrupted and delayed by her colleague who kept on talking even when it is apparent that a customer is checking in. There is a large hotel with many rooms. Room was of decent size and decent furnishing. It was comfortable enough for us to have decent rest and sleep. The cleaning staff were polite and customer oriented unlike the check-in staff. We did not have breakfast in the hotel but that was a cafe in the next building which served good breakfast. Although it is not in zone 1 of London, it is in a good location where the nearby underground station is on the line that brought us to the airport and attractions/restaurants in London. Overall, a comfortable stay. If not for the poor customer service at the reception during check-in, i would have rated it higher.

We stayed at the hotel for six nights.Staff was generally kind and helpful but the rooms were not vacuumed, the beds were only made but not changed. The mugs were not replaced and we had to go down to the reception to ask for more because they don’t answer

Not great. Despite an upgrade the coffee machine was broken on day 1 and on day 2 there was a dodgy socket that made the plug really hot burning my partner’s hand.
