Check-in was quite stressful, as the receptionist was not helpful and had a poor attitude. The food was of very low quality and some of the ingredients looked unappealing. The fruit in particular had a bad colour and did not seem fresh. The bedroom had a strong cigarette smell and appeared to have been prepared in a rush.

This is my second stay of many as I attend weekend courses nearby. Check-in was good, and Moussa gave me some additional decaf coffee sachets as I had asked for extra when I booked the stay. The room was clean and tidy, though all the carpets are very stained. I was missing a non-slip shower mat. The TV had disconnected from the internet for the first 30 minutes I was watching it, so I only had basic channels, but I wasn't really watching it, so it wasn't an issue. I had a wifi problem the last time I stayed, but it seemed much better this time. I was on a lower floor, so not sure if that made a difference. The shower was excellent - powerful, hot, clean. I love the shower gel and shampoo. Plenty of fresh, clean towels. I had a sleepless night, but that was not the hotel's fault. I would, however, comment that your air conditioning only goes down to 19 degrees. This is useless for menopausal women. Far too warm. At home, I keep my bedroom down to 13 degrees. Something to think about. Had a club sandwich in the bar - pleasant enough. The menu on your website is different to the one on offer at the hotel. Overall, the stay was pleasant, and reasonable value for money. Staff pleasant and approachable.
