Hotel is a little rough around the edges, my carpet in my room was stained in quite a few places, marks on the wall etc and shower head wouldn’t budge. But the bed was comfy and I had a good sleep. Also felt fairly modern. Breakfast was good and staff were very friendly.

We travelled up for a friend’s party. We arrived to a nice welcome by the reception staff. Once in the room, we were surprised to find that the room phone was not working so we had to physically walk from the room to reception if we needed anything. Other things to note: 1) As the phone was not working, we had to physically walk to reception and request for additional bedding and pillows (for the fold out bed). We waited 20mins and nothing came, so we had to visit reception again and request it. Bedding that was provided for the foldout bed had stains so we had to physically walk back to reception and request replacement bedding (again). We made the bed ourselves as waiting on staff to do so would have taken longer. (We’d already been waiting a while). 2) The was no hand wash in the bathroom - again this had to be physically requested as the phone was not working. 3) Toilet with no sink, separate from bathroom. I have stayed in many Accor hotels and this is the first time I have experienced this. We asked the staff why this was the case - messaging was that this was a French thing. My wife and I stayed in Sofitel Paris in 2018 and we did not experience this in France. 4) The safe locker was not working in the room. 5) The shampoo had not been replenished so had to make do with body wash. 6) Coffee from the machine at Breakfast was not very nice - please change this. 7) Breakfast- the hot buffet was not replenished time appropriately which meant guests were having to wait around or ask staff for replenishment.

Family were not able to check in. Online check in was done before, but clearly this doesn't work. Rooms in disrepair, shampoo and soap empty. Food at bar and restaurant not available. Sausages undercooked.
