Generally very good (and much better than last time). Staff couldn't have been more accommodating and food was excellent. Room a little noisy but that is the guests rather than the hotel.

The hotel is rather old and cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The rooms and corridors are carpeted, and the carpet is very dirty. Breakfast is mediocre, and so is the service in general. The staff are fairly friendly, but the overall standard is not what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. Something that had never happened to me before: there was no phone in the room. To contact reception, you had to call from your own mobile or send a WhatsApp message. Frankly, I find that ridiculous for a hotel of this category, and this detail alone says a lot about the standard of the place. On top of that, prices had been raised because of an event in town during the same period, and they were completely out of line with the quality on offer. Breakfast wasn't even included in the price. Unfortunately there isn't much choice in the area, so if you're there for work you have to make do. But raising prices that much isn't fair, because neither the service nor the quality of the hotel justifies the cost. Honestly, I wouldn't give it 4 stars: 3 at most. In short: poor cleanliness, mediocre service and breakfast, an old and poorly maintained building. I wouldn't recommend it at this price.
