Bedding has plastic on it, room doors were dirty. Restaurant is pricy for what you get.

I booked this as my safe option expecting the same quality i usually have with novotels, but this one in particular was sub par. my room was very tired looking, the bathroom had stains and lots of wear and tear, mould in the bathroom and generally not a very clean fresh looking room. the toiletries were great, but the double bed was two singles pushed together. I wanted a comfortable safe stopover during a long drive but i'd rather have booked a more budget hotel which would have been clean and comfortable.

Very tired

Hotel rooms very tired and dark, decorated in brown ! Website uses stock photos not ones of the actual rooms. Car park didn’t appear secure, one gate left open all night and cctv cameras only point to the hotel entrance. No EV charge points. Outside appearance is poor, desperately needs money spending on a full refurbishment. Restaurant reasonably priced with reasonable quality of food and service good. Breakfast very average, nowhere near the quality of Reims or Rouen Novotels. The hotel location is good for travellers to and from the UK which is probably why despite its tiredness, people still use it and is the reason I will stay there again.
