We stayed for a night. Very welcoming staff. Hotel very well located with easy parking. Rooms are spacious with properly functioning electronics. Food is quite good in the restaurant and the breakfast buffet also has good spread. Recommend to all travellers.

The hotel felt tired, not even as good as an Ibis. The staff were great but the main evening meal was not good with roasted vegetables swimming in oil. The fish was tasty but overcooked. Our room was not up to the standards we expect of Novotel. The door to the toilet had been repaired but not very well. The fridge was empty but looked as though it had been set at an angle. There was only one large and one small towel in the bathroom despite the room being booked for two.

We were due to stay at the Ibis hotel but were told that the Ibis was closed so we had been re-booked at Novotel at the same price. We were en route from the UK to the Dordogne.

The room was okay, it was quiet and clean. However, the heating did not seem to work, so I was freezing. The restaurant is very disappointing. The staff was friendly but could barely speak English, which made things difficult. The food was mostly cold and tasteless. The salad was never washed and full of sand. Once, I even found a stone in my salad with a diameter of 7 mm and almost bit a tooth off... Not recommended.
