Our room was spotless, comfortable, well appointed and well decorated had an amazing view of the Eifle tower. Lovely touch from the hotel to leave us chocolates and gifts and a lovely note wishing us a happy anniversary which set the tone for a lovely stay and meant alot to my wife and I. We we walked from here to the arc de triomphe, the Eifle tower, The Louvre and Sacre coeur. Its minutes from the Moulin Rouge and Montmartre Village and the lovely restaurants, bars and cafes this area has to offer. Although we walked lots there are really good travel links via the metro and nearby bus stations and an Uber to Gard de Nord Train station (Eurostar) was approx 13 Euros and about 15 to 20 mins. The really Parisian experience rather than the tourist trap further down the hill. We will defiantly return thank you for a wonderful stay. My only slight and it is an ever so slight issue was there are no English tv channels which is fine as we were in France. However the mirrorcast feature of the tv was disabled which is something tat is usually readily available in most hotels now, especially in a premium room, the ability to watch a little tv would have been a nice option, but didn't detract form the being a lovely stay.

The food, the room awful, the matress makes noises and the springs can be felt under you, the food quality is terrible, the eggs smell rotten...

Good location and quiet despite the area. However the rooms are a little dated, carpet is extremely stained by the age and accidents over time, which takes away from the perceived cleanliness / quality of the room.

Overall staff and experience were not what I've experience at other sites this year.

We were on a special anniversary trip to Paris. We had to book through your national booking line as we couldn't access English o n the hotels website. Ahmed helped us with the room booking regarding the final arrangements and confirmation of booking etc. (Ahmed was very helpful and an asset to the Hotel) It was a special anniversary trip and the staff left a card and chocolates in our room which was very kind and thoughtful of the tea.we would have given 10 out of 10 but we had a bad experience checking out we confirmed our booking and payment on arrival ( I had also sent proof of payment and booking confirmation to Ahmed a few days before we travelled as I didnt want any issues that may spoil our special trip) Unfortunately we had a difficult conversation with a member of staff at the checkout desk. I explained the question of payment but the person was obviously on a mission to spoil what was a great stay. I showed the confirmation of payment (hotels confirmation) but the person wanted to see my credit card and the person must have memorised the 3 digit security number and must have charged me again when we left. The person was very confrontational and on the point of being rude and on the point of obtaining and using my credit card security numbers without permission or communication I thought was highly iregular and unprofessional ( this person needs to attend some extensive customer service training) In the UK it is illegal to hold or use credit card details without permission or communication anyway I have e-mailed Ahmed asking him to look into this and I am awaiting a reply
