We attended a wedding at Portsea Surf life saving club and stayed at tge Mecure Portsea. Our room, 113, was a free upgrade as we stayed three nights (Nov 8th, 9th and 10th). That was a pleasant surprise. Nice room with a balcony overlooking the golf course. Staff were very friendly, and the big breakfast was very good. The only downside was the "push down" plug in the basin. It pushed down ok, but when pushing it down again to release the water, it took about 10 seconds to pop back up again to release the water. The water then drained away very slowly. It obviously needs cleaning. I reported this to the man who came to service our room, and he was already aware of it. I hope it's been fixed by now. Other than that it was a great stay.
