The decor when you walk in is stunning, the most beautiful smell hits you in the lobby, very relaxing. The rooms were clean, comfy and spacious. The pool & sauna were beautiful, very relaxing & clean. Breakfast was lovely and all the staff were super friendly & helpful. 10/10 would recommend. Will definitely be staying there again

I stayed in the Novotel Blackfriars as it used to be the hotel I stayed at 10 years ago when I worked in London. I had a pleasant stay and a good sleep. The only downside was getting upgraded to an executive room from a room with a double bed and convertable sofa. We booked the room so we wouldn't have to share a bed which we ended up having to do. To be fair, we did get the room really early so it was acceptable (but would have been nice if we had been told when checking-in). Also my friend had to fill in medical information to access the pool that he was not comfortable doing that. Just some minor details so an 8 out of 10 this time.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience regarding the bedding arrangement. For bookings made for two guests, the sofa bed is not opened by default and is only prepared upon request. In the Executive Room you were upgraded to, there is the option to remove the chair and set up a sofa bed if needed, and we regret that this was not clearly communicated to you at check-in. We appreciate your understanding regarding the early check-in, and we’re sorry that this detail was missed during your arrival experience.
