The hotel is well placed a short walk from the Albert Dock and Lime Street station, loads of eating & drinking places around it. The hotel itself is very clean, and the staff are lovely , but it is showing signs of being a bit 'tired' The rooms aren't air conditioned (& I know thts a 1st world problem) but its indicative of an older property needing a refresh However the bar is nice, we didnt eat in teh hotel, and as I said the staff are great

Great location and staff, no water in the room for the money i would expect 1 bottle of water in the room as a minimum, also no proper tea only flavor or herbal. My bath had 2 long hairs in it on arrival and the room was very hot - in fact the whole hotel was very hot throughout - i did get a fan prompt and left it on to cool the room. could not leave the window open over night because at 6am i was woken both nights with a lot of noise from the building opposite having works or the bin men etc
