Excellent location and friendly staff. The only problem was my request for bedding for the pull out bed didn't arrive until late on our first night. I mentioned to the receptionist just after check-in and again when we returned from our evening meal. We went for a swim and a walk to the shop and when we returned after 7pm still no bedding. Asked again at the desk and the receptionist said she'll have someone bring some and said it would have been done if I'd said earlier..I didn't bother with the argument of past request and a previously sent email stating I would be staying with my daughter. Apart from the bedding issue the hotel and facilities are excellent and I would stay again.

Short break for our first time in Edinburgh . Hotel excellent for the Hop on Hop off bus to get around the sights. Hotel very good. Food excellent - we ate there each evening too. Lovely bar area. Pool and jacuzzi used every day. Room and hotel in general very clean and staff very helpful. Only comment we would make is the separate small toilet away from the bathroom. Personally I would have preferred to have forgone a bath and a shower to have the toilet incorporated. But this is just a small point because we would stay there again if we revisit.

Spent one night in the room and it was modern, clean, and spacious. The only issue I found was that the shower door didn't close all the way over. Other than that, there were no issues. Would definitely use this hotel again.

The room was very small for a family of two adults and two children. It was not particularly clean and was extremely warm—so much so that it was almost impossible to sleep. On the positive side, the breakfast was great and the bar was decent; we did enjoy a few drinks there. However, the pool was quite small and always busy, which made it difficult to use.
