Great check in, information about breakfast given which I didn’t know so we booked this for your stay. Room ok, clean. We book for the location as near the tube. Maid service not the best, rubbish wasn’t taken away on the Saturday morning we we had the children’s takeaway packages with us the whole 2 night stay not sure why when they’d made the beds and given us fresh towels. I’d explained on booking it was for a special occasion as my daughter was in recovery from her illness and no mention or referral to this was made. Breakfast staff friendly and check out good for leaving bags for the day

Very well located hotel and lovely staff, but the design of the room was less than ideal. The design of the sink in the middle of the room was strange, the sink had no plug so you could not put water in the sink to wash, the tap was so low that the kettle could only be filled if fully turned on its side. There was no low level lighting and given the bathroom area was not 'contained' we had to leave the toilet light on all night (which could not be dimmed) which gave us some light to navigate there overnight but it shone through the gaps around the mirrored door and meant we had to use eye pads to sleep! There was no dimmer lighting at all, which meant in the morning to have a shower I had to put on a main bright switch which disturbed my husband, or try and dress in the toilet! We love Novotel, but this room design did not appear as though it had been well thought through from a user's standpoint.

Uneventful stay… no unexpected surprises (Good). The only downside was that I asked to be emailed my final bill but this was not done (as far as I can tell)
