Stayed here for work back in September 2024. Good location, even for tourism as it is close to St Paul’s, London Bridge and Tate …Breakfast is simple but OK, and staff is friendly. Room decoration has no charm, but that is typical for Novotel. I also had dinner at the brasserie connected to the hotel and it was fine… nothing spectacular…Had an amazing bathtub in my room and very comfy beds, and I slept super well. If you want charm, don’t go there. If you want easy and convenient, this can be a good place to go.

Loved it! STaff was super helpful and very friendly. Locaiton was super: right next to the conference venue, 1 min walk from Tower Hill station, right by the Thames (The Tower, Tower Bridge), walking distance to the City, Southbank etc.

Staff are polite and efficient. Little waiting time. The only incident is the firm alarm which was on for 30 min in the middle of the night, and there were no indication/ explanation instantly from hotel. Only receive a letter in the morning

Whilst the room was clean and comfortable the lack of creature comforts is severely lacking i.e: Empty water bottles which the customer is required to go and fill; So few tea bags I had to call for supplies; No conditioner in room, requiring another call; and. Have to use a QR code to do anything or when it doesn't work have to go down to the lobby. No cutlery on breakfast tables had to chase around for some. I realised I had no water after I'd got ready for bed. Was not prepared to go out in my nightwear to get some and woke up very dehydrated. The room was stifling hot and no facility to turn the heat down so had to have the window open all night and the noise made it difficult to sleep. I really hated my stay and felt very uncared for by Novotel. As a corporate client that comes to stay quarterly with several colleagues the hotel's policies are not good enough.
