Disappointed with the lack of dog friendly eating options at the hotel - better menu needed at bar or option to serve restaurant food down to bar or a section of restaurant for dogs would improve this and make the hotel truly dog friendly. We paid £1000 for one night ( 2 rooms ) with one room not ready when we arrived at 3:30pm we were then checking out by midday. We struggled to find somewhere to eat with the dog we had to leave hotel to find a dog friendly restaurant then when we returned the bar had closed and not serving drinks and no room service to order drink before bed which again was disappointing for the money we paid for less than a 24 hour stay

we had a great time and found the location and staff wonderful. Our French is not great but we resuccitated our Form 2 French and were able to get along with staff support😊 I didn't get to use the pool but my husband said it was great - no chlorine apparently. I just loved the calmness at this hotel and so spent quite a bit of time on our balcony watching the beautiful sea. A balcony is a must here. They are dog friendly, which is fabulous as a little wolf could enjoy a holiday too. My only wish is that there was somewhere on the same floor as the restaurant for dogs and their owners to eat, especially for breakfast. We were told to leave the dog in the room (if they wouldn't be upset) or with someone at reception so we could have breakfast. We thought this not right and asked to eat in the bar area downstairs, we were directed to ask the bar manager directly as it was his decision, luckily it was fine. If a hotel is dog friendly some accommodation needs to be made for all dog owners to dine not too far from the restaurant/dining room. As we are quite fit we were able to carry a tray with hot team and breakfast items down the steep stairs to the bar area.
