Disappointed with several aspects of my visit. Firstly, I had requested a room upgrade at check-in, but this was not accommodated. I understand that availability can be an issue, but it felt like there was little effort to meet my request or offer alternatives. The room given was advertised as having a great view, but other issues detracted from the experience. The air conditioning in the room was not functioning well, making it difficult to stay comfortable, especially in the hot weather. The seafood buffet was another letdown. The quality and variety did not meet the standards I expected from a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, there was a lot of noise from the surrounding area, including barking dogs and roosters crowing, which disrupted my sleep. While I understand this is beyond the hotel’s direct control, it significantly affected my stay. Overall, I had higher expectations for a stay at Mercure, and I hope the management will address these issues for future guests.

Perfect in every respect except for evening meal. The Breezes restaurant had a limited menu and presented low quality ingredients (small portions) in a manner not befitting a hotel of this quality - we had to return 2 dishes.

Good stay but need impove the rest room

I stayed in the Hill area, room 807. Overall, the room was decent, but there were some issues with the toilet design and water pressure that made the experience less comfortable. Specifically: 1. Lack of toilet partition: The toilet is visible from the seating area where the TV is, which feels awkward and uncomfortable. 2. No hooks in the glass bathroom: Clothes have to be taken outside to hang, but there’s no cover or curtain in the outer area, which is inconvenient. 3. Weak water pressure: The water in the sink is only usable through the shower. If the shower is turned on at full flow, the water pressure drops significantly. Interestingly, the area on the other side of the beach doesn’t have these issues. I hope Mercure can address these concerns to enhance the guest experience.
