Mixed feelings

The location of the venue is superb it holds a commanding position overlooking their private beach. The entrance lobby is worthy of it’s 4 star rating. The atmosphere when we arrived for our break was quite quiet. The desk staff are as usual in Vietnam welcoming and pleasant however to our very own detriment their grasp and understanding of English is a little poor. Rooms are pleasant bed very comfortable, aircon is assisted by the two inch gap in the fitted bifold doors! (Room 318) Outside the whole place; furniture included , needs a revamp. Gardens are groomed very well each day. The glazed perimeter has been totally destroyed by the incoming and rising tide(s) Breakfast is varied and matching its status, evening meal was of good quality albeit very mixed in its timings / arrival to our table. Prices for drinks and meals are also matching its advertised status (4*).

I had a two night stay at the Mercure with a friend. The hotel is located at a beautiful location. A few stand outs are the music that plays all day long and one of tour managers Duyen, she was attentive and friendly and made us feel very welcome.
