We moved from staying at an Airbnb in Kowloon to Novotel citygate because of the location close to Disneyland and the airport.
We arrived early and was planning on just leaving our luggage before making way to Disneyland. To our delight, our room was ready earlier so the check in manager Grima at the time said we can check in earlier, which was amazing! She was very helpful and very considerate to offer us a connecting room as we were two families staying. I can’t speak of her highly enough!

I the only downside of the property is the amenity in the room is a bit worn out. 1) The drainage of the sink kind of blocked even after housekeeper tried her best to clear, it did not help much. 2) the pillow case had bugs that led to my allergy reaction. Luckily, once it was changed everything went well.

It was my daughter's bday, and they gave her a cake! We like how generous the hotel staff are for giving us water all the time! Just a comment, until the end of our stay we still cant figure out how to lock the comfort rooms.Unsure if it's it not really working or we just dont know how to lock it hehe. Might as well put an instruction for future guests.
The room is very spacious, the ambience and view is very relaxing. My kids wants to go swimming but the time is only until 6pm, but that's ok.

I prefer staying here for a layover rather than the Regal hotel at the airport bc the airport shuttle is every 20 mins and only takes 10 mins to get to the airport, this hotel is attached to a fantastic mall and the train station is attached to the mall so it takes roughly the same time into central Hong Kong as the airport train does. Much more to do at this hotel. The rooms are slightly better than at the regal too.
