Dear Mr. L., Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are delighted that you found your stay so comfortable and that our housekeeping left such a clean impression. It is great to know you slept well on our Live N Dream bed, and that our breakfast buffet offered everything you needed to start your day. We are also very pleased you appreciated our location, just a short walk from the RAI Amsterdam Conference Centre. Our hotel sits right in the heart of Amsterdam Zuid, making it easy to reach both business venues and the city centre via tram or metro. Dear Mr. G., Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your recent stay. We are delighted that you found our hotel one of the best you have stayed in and that our rooms offered you great comfort. However, we are sincerely sorry that our team did not meet your expectations regarding a simple in-room request. We do provide one complimentary bottle of water upon arrival, and extra bottles can be purchased at our 24-hour shop next to reception. We understand this may not have been made clear at the time. Nonetheless, we are glad that your overall impression of our hotel remains very positive. We hope to welcome you back in the future for an improved stay. Kind regards, Manager on Duty

Dear Guest , Thank you for taking the time to let us know your opinion of your recent stay. We are pleased that you found the rest of our hotel to your liking. However, we are truly sorry to hear that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Our executive rooms are all 24m² and feature the same queen-size bed, along with a Nespresso machine, a rain shower, and extra amenities. We understand how important a comfortable workspace is when travelling for business, and we regret any confusion caused by the differences you noticed between the two rooms. Nonetheless, our convenient location near the Amsterdam RAI convention centre, the varied menu at Restaurant URBN, and our 24-hour reception are all designed with business travellers in mind. We hope you will consider staying with us again in the future. Best regards, Manager on Duty

Dear Ms. R., We appreciate the time you have taken to provide us with your opinion of your stay. We are delighted that our reception team left such a positive impression through their courtesy, patience and willingness to assist throughout your stay. It is rewarding to know that their professionalism, particularly in arranging your room change, coordinating additional cleaning and resolving matters at checkout, made a meaningful difference to your experience. However, we are truly sorry to hear that several aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. The incident you described with your room-service meal is concerning, and we regret that the follow-up during your stay fell short of the timely response you deserved. Cleanliness is a priority for us, so we are disappointed that your second room did not reflect our usual standards upon arrival and that a service oversight occurred due to an unexpected sign on your door. We also acknowledge your comments regarding the limited breakfast offering and the prolonged wait you experienced at lunch, which understandably impacted your plans. Nonetheless, we appreciate your recognition of the way your concerns were eventually addressed and the care shown by our team. Our colleagues remain committed to ensuring guests feel supported, and we are glad that their efforts helped improve your overall impression. We look forward to welcoming you back. Best wishes, Manager on Duty

Dear Mr. Youngho, We appreciate that you took the time to share your experience with us. We regret the shortfall in attention to some in-room amenities and the service you received. Your feedback on the connection speed is noted and will be addressed. We hope to welcome you back. Best wishes, Manager on Duty

Good staff

Dear Ms. C., We appreciate that you took the time to share your experience with us. We are delighted that our front desk and café team made a positive impression on your business trip. However, we regret that the breakfast did not offer the variety you hoped for. Our chef prepares omelettes, pancakes, and fried eggs on request, and we also offer a quick coffee-and-croissant option at the bar. but it is unfortunate that the kitchen is being renovated and therefore our breakfast dishes are limited. We are also sorry that your room on the second day fell short of our usual standards. Our housekeeping team is always on hand to address any concern during your stay. Nonetheless, we are glad that our staff contributed to a satisfying overall visit, and we truly value your loyalty as a Classic member. We are looking forward to welcoming you again. Check In : Rude and arrogant. My wife and I couldn’t wait to get away from the Reception Desk. As it was my Wife’s Birthday on Monday 12 October 2026. I “ Politely “ asked if a package had arrived. I was sorry that I did

Dear Mr. Reilly, We appreciate the time you have taken to provide us with your opinion of your stay. We are truly sorry to hear that several aspects of your stay did not meet the standards you deserved. The service you encountered from our team at various touchpoints clearly fell short of the hospitality we aim to deliver, and your concerns about staff engagement and member recognition have been taken on board. We also regret the shortfalls with your welcome drink and the internet speed. Nonetheless, it is heartening that the colleague from the Philippines in our lobby cafe left such a positive impression through her genuine care. Finally, your appreciation for our location, so conveniently placed for both business and leisure, means a great deal to us. We hope to be able to welcome you back on a return visit for an improved experience. Best regards, Manager on Duty

My husband and I recently enjoyed a wonderful getaway together, and our experience was truly amazing from start to finish! The hotel was lovely, but what really made our stay so special was the exceptional hospitality and kindness of the staff. A special thank you to Alain and, I believe, Mohammed (I hope I have his name right!). They were absolutely fantastic, so helpful, welcoming and attentive. Their warmth and professionalism really stood out and made us feel so comfortable and well looked after throughout our stay. I truly believe that good staff make all the difference to any hotel or venue, and this hotel is a perfect example of that. When you have a team that genuinely cares about its guests, it transforms a good stay into a memorable experience. I also enjoyed a lovely coffee at the hotel’s coffee shop, which was another nice touch! We left feeling happy, relaxed and grateful for such a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing break with excellent hospitality. We would definitely love to return! Thank you to the whole team for making our getaway so special!

Dear Ms. U., We are delighted that our location suited your getaway so well. We are also thrilled that Alain and Mohammed made such a warm impression. Our team takes real pride in looking after every guest with care, and it is lovely to know their kindness helped make your time with us feel so special. It is great that you enjoyed a restful night on our Live N Dream beds. We designed them to give you a deep, comfortable sleep, and we are glad they did just that. Your appreciation for the coffee at our shop and the smooth check-in means a lot to us as well. Our housekeeping team works hard to keep every room fresh and well maintained, so hearing that you found everything clean and well equipped is truly rewarding. Hotel is pretty old. Walls are thin and family staying with small kid floor above us made us waking up together with them. At 7am. Close to metro and trains

Dear Mr. L., We appreciate the time you have taken to provide us with your opinion of your stay. lots of dust bunnies everywhere, carpet was caked

Dear Guest, We appreciate that you took the time to share your experience with us. We are pleased that our location worked well for your business trip, with the RAI station just a short walk away and convenient connections to the city centre and Schiphol airport. However, we are sincerely sorry that several aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Your remarks about the upkeep of your room give us cause for reflection, as we take great pride in our daily housekeeping service. Our team is always available at reception to address any concerns on the spot. We also regret that the WiFi connection did not perform as it should during your visit; the network is designed to cover all guest rooms and public areas, and our front desk can assist with the connection steps whenever needed. The lack of a toilet brush is an unusual oversight, and your comfort was clearly compromised by the overall condition of the accommodation. Nonetheless, we are glad you found our hotel well situated for your needs. Our position near the Amsterdam RAI convention centre and the Amstel Park makes it a practical choice for professionals visiting the area. We hope that we have the pleasure of seeing you again in the near future. Kind regards, Manager on Duty

Atlassian G. K. V. Business - Confirmed reviews ALL

Me and my colleague reached hotel on same uber. I was ahead in the checkin line. I was asked by Amara to wait as my room was not ready. I co worker was given the room right after me. She was in Room 1413 (Executive room). I kept waiting for 30 mins and since no update was provided to me, I again went to check with Amara and she told me my room was still not ready. I waited again and after 15 mins when I asked Martina to get me the room, she said now that it's 3PM I will assign you the room and she gave me room 1416. I asked her why I was made to wait she said that the room is guaranteed only at 3PM. I totally didn't understand this. If there were rooms available, why did she not assign me the room in the first place. There were so many people checkin in at that time and I was the only one singled out. I asked her that I was to talk to supervisor, at this time Shiani showed up and she was also not at all apologetic about the situation. This was the first time I came to Novotel hotel. I'll never stay at Novotel again in my life anywhere around the world. This was a sheer discrimination nothing else.

Dear Mr. K. , Thank you for taking the time to share this review of your experience. Your high marks for check-in and departure tell us that some moments of your arrival and farewell went smoothly, and we are pleased those aspects stood out positively. However, we are truly sorry to hear that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Being asked to wait while other guests were assisted can understandably feel frustrating, and we regret that the communication around room availability left you with such a disappointing impression. Our check-in time is guaranteed from 3pm, and rooms are assigned based on a combination of factors including room type, housekeeping readiness, and booking conditions. We never single out any guest, and we are saddened that your experience led you to feel otherwise. Your interaction with our team members should have been handled with more care and empathy, and we apologize that this was not reflected during your visit. Very nice hotel. Convenient to RAI, rail transport, and grocery store. Room was quaint and the bed was very comfortable. Some issues with USB ports next to the bed not working. The drain cover in the shower was loose. Shower needs anti slip mat or adhesives on the floor. I nearly slipped and fell twice. Entry doors into the room and bathroom are tripped hazards. No means to control room temperature with air conditioners, just fan speed and no cool air output. Breakfast was a great amenity.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your recent stay. We’re glad you found our location convenient and enjoyed your room, bed, and breakfast. Sorry for the issues with the USB ports, shower fittings, and carpet; we’ve shared your feedback with the team. Our air conditioning offers temperature control, and staff are happy to assist with operation. We look forward to welcoming you back again for an improved experience. Kind regards, Manager on Duty

Darvasi P. Families - Confirmed reviews ALL

Good rooms but the USB-plugs were few, failing and underpowered. While there were three USB plugs only one could work at a time. I wish hand lotion and hair conditioner had been provided.

Dear Mr. Darvasi, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your recent stay. We are glad you found our rooms comfortable and your stay enjoyable overall. That said, we are sincerely sorry that some aspects of your visit did not meet your expectations. We regret the frustration with the in-room USB points and acknowledge your wish for additional amenities like hand lotion and hair conditioner. We also understand the booking difficulties were inconvenient, even though they originated outside our system, and we are sorry it took several attempts to arrange breakfast for your second adult. Your comments about ease of access, connection speed, and our environmental practices have been heard, and we appreciate your candid feedback as a new ALL Classic member. Nonetheless, our team is pleased that you chose Novotel Amsterdam City for your family trip, and we value the opportunity to welcome you as you begin your journey with the ALL programme. We hope to welcome you back in the future for an improved stay. Kind regards, Manager on Duty
