I just do not appreciate the housekeeping knocking and much worst using a key to open up room door. Luckily I am still inside and my children were sleeping. If no request tag is hang outside the door knob it means they DO NOT open up room door using their keys. This is just disappointing and scary.

I had previously hesitated to stay in the area just south of Central station but have been pleasantly surprised with the changes in the area. Very convenient to get around the city because of it's proximity to Central station, it also is in an area that has shown much improvement. Lively at night, there are many food options nearby including the excellent Spice Alley nearby. Gym is decent and the pool is warm.

As always, I love my stays at the Mercure hotel- Sydney bc it is accessible and at a central location. I believe that i was upgraded to the corner room? So I had views looking towards the inner west and a view to the famous Central stn clock 😊. Although, I wasn't called when my rm became available, everything else about it was great. The luggage staff are so helpful as well.

Gloomy decor, dim lights, no water in room, no moisturiser, carpet felt dirty. Place is next to bus stop to comfortable but god walk for tram and metro so got tiring as tourist. gloomy and dull breakfast area as well.

This is the 3rd time this year I've stayed at the hotel for multiple nights. The previous two visits I was very happy with the room afforded to me as a Platinum Accor member. The room last week was not up to standard. The team leader tried to assist by asking the manager who then allocated 500 additional Accor points for my stay - I am unsure if this has been actioned. The team at Mercure Sydney are a very polite team and very helpful.
