Good location, easy access & free secure parking all good. Adjacent ‘Courtapaille’ restaurant also very good. (Superb steak!). But the so called ‘comfort’ room was below expectations. In need of refurb (shower tray damaged, smell of damp in bathroom and room) & missing facilities ( no mugs/cups for hot drinks, just 2 paper cups in bathroom, no bottle of water provided - I had to ask for one at reception). Room generally quite drab and in need of redec. Overall, not good value for money at €92 for one night stay.

I arrived late in the day, so I am assuming that was why I was given a disabled room. This was not particularly private as I attended for a conference and there were lots of colleagues/delegates passing the room which was next to the stairs with no door in between. The room itself had no bin or in the bathroom, there were cobwebs and large spiders, and the shower gel was empty. There was also a paper cup in the bathroom, I assume for toothbrush. Unfortunately our group’s luggage did not arrive from our connecting flight, but despite there being supplies promoted in the lobby and displayed in the cabinet, there weren’t any toothbrushes or toothpaste. The pillows were also very flimsy and appeared discoloured. Overall a very expensive stay for a less than average hotel, and seemed like the budget equivalent.

This is a well located hotel if you drive into Bordeaux. The parking experience was fantastic and it's very easy to reach for the ring road. Once you are at the hotel, it's very easy and fun to take the tram into the centre of the city. Lastly, the hotel and the people working there were extremely nice, kind and professional.

Rooms a lot more basic than expected hotel looks like it needs to be refurbished. La ck of gluten free options at breakfast Reception staff and restaurant staff were excellent and very helpful

All my travel money was stolen in Ibis hotel a truly shocking experience. The theft took place inside the hotel: staff members entered the restaurant and asked guests for their room numbers. CCTV footage showed three individuals committing the theft simultaneously. I have stayed at Ibis hotels many times, and this is the first time I have encountered such a situation; it is simply unacceptable.

Sink in bathroom would not drain away. Had to change rooms. 37degrees on our arrival. Dined in the restaurant but the doors to the restaurant terrace were left open so the inside was as hot as outside. Little point in having the air conditioning on.
