Booked Family Room of a family of 2 adult and 2 kids, and room was 3 x 4 meters plus bathroom. Way too small and Claustrophobic for a family of 4. It was horrible experience. We were told by the reception staff, this was the biggest room in the hotel. Never coming again.

The hotel is in a good location, if you need to be near Birmingham city centre. Reception was smooth and friendly, the room clean. The window in the room lets a lot of noise through, which really isn't ideal when next to a busy road with traffic and sirens all night. Also the pillows were awful and really need replacing. I also only had one hand soap that I had to move between sink and shower.

The receptionist staff were extremely helpful. The room I stayed was good size and very clean. Plus the bed was comfortable. Reasons I didn't give a higher score was due to i) the room being cold no matter how much I adjusted the climate control unit, and ii) the bedroom sheet was too thin - I slept with my dressing gown on with my coat on top of the bedsheets throughout my stay.

Reception check in/out was great, helpful and informative. Room was small but decent, very clean. But mattress is super hard as rock. Not sure if I will choose again Ibis knowing that I will be sleeping on rock.

Great location, friendly staff, clean. Rooms are quite tight but to be expected. My main issue was the noise from other guests. I’m not sure if the walls are thin but the people walking down the corridors in the early hours were so loud so I didn’t get much sleep.

The area at night is dark but the welcome inside from staff and environment is great. Staff welcoming friendly and helpful. Room basic and clean sadly no kettle etc in room so had to keep going down stairs to buy tea etc. Had gd night sleep and it was quiet

Good location and rooms clean and comfortable. Parking an issue due to ongoing refurb and half of car park being used by contractors. Very noisy at night and throughout.

The overall stay was great, the only thing was the lack of parking on arrival. We were told where the nearest car park was and it turned out to be cheaper than the hotel.
