There are dozens of currencies in use all over Asia so the exact one you need would depend on which country you are in. If you choose to stay in Vietnam, for instance, you would use the Dong, while in Thailand it is the Baht and China the Yuan. Many countries will accept US Dollars as well as their own currency like Cambodia but you should check this out country by country before you leave.,Again this will vary from country to country depending on slight changes in rainy seasons, if there are any festivals or celebrations you want to see and experience, or if you are looking for the best value. Outside of peak seasons you may find some great prices on things like flights and your hotel stay. However, it may be a bit damp or colder than you would like, so that is also worth considering. Chinese New Year is a spectacular time to head to there, as is the Moon Festival, and many countries have wonderful independence celebrations that can make this a special time to visit.,There is no shortage of activities to enjoy, again, depending on where you want to go and the sort of holiday you wish to enjoy. You can take a boat ride through the stunning islands of Ha Long Bay in Vietnam, hire a private Tuk-Tuk to take you around the incredible temples in Siem Reap, Cambodia, or walk with elephants and Chiang Mai, Thailand.
