Awaiting the installation of an electric charging station for vehicles, we provide electrical outlets in our parking lot. Appreciate the room upgrade and would like to mention Josephine from the front desk who was extremely helpful at check-in and arranged an room upgrade for us. It was also interesting to see there's a room with a different interior, somewhat more modern than what I'm used to in this hotel. It's also very nice to see the staff from breakfast team remembering me and knowing my habits after being a regular guest for nearly 8 years.

The hotel is very well located between both rivers and within walking distance from most sights. Although the hotel has some hints of luxury, it also looks a little bit outdated in some areas, The rooms are spacious, clean and nice. The hotel has plenty of ammenities. Staff were very nice and helpful. Also, for us the easy access and parking on site was important since we were doing a road trip through the region. Something more difficult for hotels in the old town. At a price of around 180 EUR per night I think it is still good value for money for this hotel category.

This hotel is not a 5 star and should not be rated as such, and cost adjusted. Rooms are awful, no better than most motels, old outdated, scratched doors, scratched walls. Checked in at 6:15pm and woman at front desk asked what time I needed sofa set up for my children. I told her no rush but by 8pm. Bell boy brought up suitcases, was tipped 20$, also asked me about sofa and I said yes we need sofa. Fast forward we get back from dinner around 10pm with exhausted kids and sofa not set up. However I could tell someone came To service the room because the cup of coffee I used upon check in was removed. Had to call and beg for sofa to be set up while my kids had to wait on the chairs instead of a bed in a “5 star” hotel. This kind of service is not acceptable for 600 euros a night. It is just awful. Worst hotel of our trip and it also happened to be on New Year’s Eve.

Great Sofitel bed and river view. Very old n dated though..

Stayed 3 days in suite room and standard room. I have never seen a sofitel like this one. The room is very old, the carpet old and brown, and the rooms are dark. That said, the river view from our room was lovely, and that was the highlight for me. The bed was also a proper Sofitel bed, soft topper, supportive mattress, soft comfy sheets. I didn’t sleep well the first night, partly because we checked in late and the room felt old and dark, but I slept very well the following nights. The lobby area is nice and new. The staffs are helpful. Had christmas dinner at les 3 domes, food was ok, i was expecting better as i heard it used to be a michelin restaurant. Breakfast was ok, too many people for too little restaurant. Love the restaurant view. Went to the lounge at night and the view is nicer than that in the restaurant. I searched the reviews and saw that they have renovated rooms, but i asked and the reception said there were none as the hotel are waiting for renovation. it will be a very good Sofitel when it is renovated.
