It is the biggest hotel in the south of Thailand but still extremely nice. All the 650+ rooms are well located with pools all around the fantastic garden area. Good breakfast and fantastic staff also helped this hotel to be great. The only small downside is that you have to go over a street to come to the beach which is "local" and not very clean. Otherwise a highly recommendable hotel.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing from the beginning. The room key card did not work properly, and we had to wait a long time before we could finally access our room. This caused unnecessary delay and inconvenience at check-in. The room itself felt old and poorly maintained. We experienced an electricity outage during our stay, lights stopped working, and the room door did not shut properly, which was quite concerning. Overall, the condition of the room and the service issues significantly affected our experience. This was not what we expected and did not meet the standards we anticipated. We booked 3 rooms for my wife birthday.

Lets start with reception the reception was not welcoming no welcome drink no offering water and no any proper guidance was given is just like they want finish from you fast , the deluxe renovated rooms was good in building i have been given dirty towels with marks in washrooms and If usually these marks cant be cleaned the hotel have to throw away this towels the hotel have serious issue in hygiene and health related issues for the breakfast its completely open while people going around coughing on food and Sneezing and i saw the same knife by chef was used to cut meat was used as well to cut fruits the expired products in my mini bar and i have informed the reception and reception ask me should we come and change it , no any serious action have been taken the staff in gym have very low knowledge in gym support i even asked about personal training they said we have in reception and been told the price then suddenly in gym say no we dont have we only have helper and as i saw the hotel is big and look have shortage with staff and cant handle that much guests , and as i saw the staff is not satisfied with there work not satisfied with many things and That why it lead them to be unhappy and there way of not satisfying they spread a negative energy and negative impact as some of the staff talk to you like you owe them money or owe them a favor health and service way things have to change

Having stayed in Khao Lak last year at a "five star" hotel, this was on another level. Couldn't really fault anything about the appointment, standards and staff service levels. Visitors from the UK were in the minority, which wasn't a problem, with the majority seemingly from China and Russia which creates some cultural challenges. All facilities at the hotel were excellent. Room was modern and new feeling. The Patong, Karon & Kata areas aren't our cup of tea (Patong is like Magaluf on steroids and Kata a close second!) Would use the hotel again for a short stay
