The Pullman Karon Beach is undeniably beautiful. The white architecture set against the lush greenery makes for a very nice atmosphere. The location is excellent, and I highly recommend the lounge for a truly good sunset view. ​However, my experience as an Accor Platinum member was very disappointing. I was denied a room upgrade at check-in, with staff claiming the hotel was fully occupied. This was frustrating because I could see that upgraded room categories were available for booking at that exact moment. It is disappointing when a beautiful hotel does not honor loyalty benefits or provide transparent information to members.
