Absolutely loved our stay at Novotel Nara- everything was incredibly clean, modern, and convenient. The hotel is just a short walk from a major train line, which also made our commute to Osaka/Kyoto very simple. All the staff we interacted with were kind and helpful, and went out of their way to ensure we were happy. The dinner and breakfast buffets were also delicious. We will absolutely stay here again on future trips!

I had a perfect stay at Novotel Nara. I honestly think it could be one of the best Novotel hotels in the world - if not the best! Service in Japan is among the best in the world, and Novotel is no exception. The food was delicious, and I especially loved the breakfast, with its wonderful selection of local dishes. The hotel also has an Executive Lounge, where both the service and food are on another level. And the Afternoon Tea cake selection (what they call “cake hour”) was simply fantastic! If only there were a sunbathing spot next to the rooftop bar for me, I might move in for a long stay. :D The hotel also shares a shuttle with the JW Marriott Nara, which is right next door. I would absolutely recommend staying here. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

Staffs are very kind. Breakfast is good. Understand that young kids may make sounds because of family guests. Similar things happen in other hotels so that's totally fine. However, lying on the walkway of cafe, throwing things in the lobby, crying out loudly for several minutes without any adult's watch. This may not be the responsibility of the hotel but that was truly terrible experience.

All was ok. But one point to improve: elevator bell sound was heard in room 345 and was rather irritating especially in morning breakfast hour.
