This hotel is located close to Shin Omiya and right next to a street full of Izakayas and restaurants. It is very convenient if you want to explore both the Western and Eastern side of Nara and you avoid a lot of tourists by staying in this hotel. Room is very spacious and clean.

The property has shuttle to and from Yamato Saidaji Station which was very convenient and you can ride the Marriott shuttle to JR Nara Station. There is an Airport Limousine Bus from the station to Kansai for JPY2,500 which was very convenient for me with alot of luggage. I wish I knew about the shuttle so I didn't have to walk about 11mins from Shin-Ōmiya Station. The staff were very helpful in booking the bus since the Site was Japanese only. The location was nice, it was peaceful. It was near Nara Convention Center there was a bookstore with Starbucks and Family Mart so i bought food there. For shopping, a mall was walking distance from the Station. The food served during breakfast was Nara delicacies with western options but for me who was staying for 6 nights, I have memorized the food served as it was basically the same every day. I would understand that they serve the Nara delicacies but probably have some food variety on a daily basis. For my Platinum Benefits: I was able to check in early. Didn't get upgraded probably they were full. But the room was nice and spacious. It was near the other elevator that goes directly to the Spa. The Executive Lounge was almost always full so you have to queue. The food served were the same

Having stayed in Nara previously, this hotel was a great find. The rooms are well designed and provide a good amount of space and conveniences. The public bath is great as well. Transportation is convenient too, with the hotel shuttles and the public bus and airport bus stop very close. A station on the Kintetsu line is also within walking distance. This will be my first choice on my next Nara visit.

The hotel is 30 min walk from the station. They have shuttle bus together with Marriott hotel next door but do not advertise if. On the way back we used shuttle.

Novotel Nara was hands down the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Japan. The room was well-appointed, the bed was so comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was amazing. If I ever have a chance to stay in a Novotel hotel again, I will.

We stayed at your hotel for 3 nights. As a Platinum Accor member I was treated with respect and both my rooms were upgraded to the Top Floor. The reception team was pleasant and accommodating.  Nothing was too much for them.  Extra efforts were made to ensure our stay was unforgettable.  We met some amazing hotel staff. We had the pleasure to meet the GM of the hotel. Very warm and welcoming person, he took 5 minutes from his busy schedule to talk to us.  A GM that leads by example. The front office Manager Kim, a manager that he did his best to make sure that we  were treated with respect and he did his best to provide us with best customer service possible.  I would like to take the opportunity to thank him from the bottom of my heart for making my family and I, feel very welcome, valuable and he made feel very proud for being an Accor platinum member.  The front office staff Fuko and everyone else that they always smiled and they were happy to provide us with the best customer service. The supervisor at your restaurant my apologies for forgetting the name but I know she is from Vietnam. She was amazing throughout our stay. She treated us with respect and kindness, and she went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable.  Your executive lounge staff the housekeeping staff, everyone was amazing.  I can't find anything negative to say about your hotel or your staff. You have an amazing product and amazing hotel with amazing facilities.  The executive lounge was very cozy well organised. We loved it.  Very much on detail, we loved all the machines( beer , soup, soft drinks, coffee, and the towel machine.... that was one off the best ideas.   Your executive lounge is So we'll organised. Congratulations for having the perfect hotel. Overall, the remaining part of the hotel was outstanding.  Fantastic location, a cozy restaurant and bar. Rooms were spacious and cozy. Our stay was truly delightful, perfect, amazing. The location is not that good though. It can be covered by its and Marriott’s shuttle services. The room was perfect. The staff were friendly and kind to guests. I also liked the authentic Nara cuisine in breakfast.

Traveling with a group of high school students can be a Trying experience. The hotel made this smooth, comfortable, and a place I would return to over and over again. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, and the amenities were above expectation. We all really enjoyed the offerings at breakfast. Additionally, the availability of the on-site, laundry, both laundry service, and do it yourself, was a welcome addition to the end portion of our trip. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. I really enjoyed my stay and I know many of our students were also blown away by the hotel. Thank you so much.
