Check in process is easy Parking space is nice Hotel location is just fine Amenities are good Service is bad - we called to ask for tea, but we'd have to follow up after an hour to have it accommodated. Seems that the receptionist immediately forgot the request after the first call. Toiletries and kits provided are not good - we understand that there is a disclaimer inside the room to ask due to conservation of environment but I believe a comb is necessary which should by default be included and not something to ask for.

An other time in Manila, a return to home. The staff made me feel at home the moment we stepped into the hotel. Excellent service, and care for the entire family that travelled with me. Accommodating front desk, attentive housekeeping, and caring staff at the restaurant made this stay another excellent experience. Ideal located for my meetings in Makati and BGC. A short walk to Power Plant Mall where good food and shopping is readily available. And, for the quick hunger, a carenderia is next door too.

Arrived past 2pm and I was surprised that the superior suite was not yet available and housekeeping was still cleaning the room. I have a 2pm meeting that I missed because of the delay. When we got to the room, the HK was using lysol to disinfect the room. Clearly, it was stated that i will be bringing my pets, does Novotel know that lysol is toxic to pets especially to cats? Clearly, you are pet tolerant and pet friendly, but never pet safety. At night, you can smell the raw sewage from the bathroom. The sofa was dusty and needed some cleaning soon.

Novotel surpassed my expectations. Having experienced other brands within the Accor group, I find Novotel Acqua to be on par with top-tier hotels in customer service. The reservation officer responded promptly to my email requests for room changes. The concierge team greeted us warmly. Our room was thoughtfully decorated with balloons and a mock cake, and just before midnight, a delicious cheesecake was delivered to celebrate my birthday. Limited choice of restaurants with very few choices for breakfast and lunch. Staff were friendly and provided good service. Did not feel that I was staying at a Novotel property as there was something missing in the ambiance.

-No hand or face towels in room (shouldnt need to request) -No loyalty acknowledgement for silver member -No coffee machine (even though room description states it) -Nice view -Secure -Central -Clean and ok however not up to the Novotel standard of other properties.
