At check in I was asked if I wanted breakfast, if I did and ordered it then it would cost me $20 something dollars, if I said no and then went to breakfast without pre ordering it it would cost me $30 something dollars. No options were discussed, I was not sure at that time what I wanted but I said yes. On reflection I felt a little bullied into making a decision just after I had had a long flight when all I may have wanted was a bowl of cereal and a coffee. I don't feel this is the best way to greet your guests, it was not a pleasant experience.

Our team offers guests the opportunity to pre-book breakfast at a discounted rate during check-in, as the walk-in breakfast rate is higher. This is intended to provide guests with a more economical option rather than create any pressure to purchase. We would also like to clarify that guests do not need to make this decision immediately upon arrival, as the discounted breakfast rate can still be arranged through Reception before midnight. We appreciate your feedback and will reinforce with our Front Office team the importance of clearly communicating these options. Regarding the hair found in your bathtub, we apologise that this aspect of your room did not meet our usual cleanliness standards. From the moment I walked into the hotel I was greeted by friendly staff who actually remembered who I was from my last visit. The restaurant was first class and my steak was cooked to perfection.

refrigerator was off in room, no coffee pods, restaurant closed 1st night, bar closed 2nd night, restaurant open 2nd night but not accepting ALL card, had I known this I would have stayed somewhere else, you had this booking for 5 months and you have my details as I usually stay there, you could have simply emailed me and I would have made other arrangements,

Yes, the hotel due to the demand had closed the restaurant I apologize that this disappointed your stay. Wit respected to the discount there are blackout dates that discount does not apply. I apologize that this was not communicated in advance to you. I do sincerely apologize that you were not satisfied with our services which caused an uncomfortable stay.
