Please note that our swimming pool is an outdoor facility and is only open during the swimming season. It is closed from 1 October, outside the summer season. We booked the stay as part of our European holiday with the family. We specifically booked this hotel so our kids could enjoy a buffet breakfast and use the pool during the stay as these were listed on the website (and looked fantastic!). Unfortunately when we arrived, we were told that the pool was not open as there was no lifeguard on duty. Staff told us that management had told them there were not enough guests to justify a full time lifeguard outside of the peak summer period and it had been closed since early September. When we asked at reception the staff were apologetic (and gave us a drink voucher) but were well aware that it was not in use (I think multiple people has asked). Unfortunately this spoiled the experience for us (the rest of the stay was great) and there were no alternative arrangements in place (we were told that the beach was a 10-20 min walk from the hotel) which I would suggest could be arranged as there are multiple Accor hotels in Monaco.

We also apologize that our reception team did not offer you an alternative solution. I felt that the staff was very rude except for one person who spoke 4 languages, he was the only one kind to us. We had to upgrade our room because the room provided to us for €650 for two nights was so pathetic. We paid €170 extra to get a better room so we felt genuinely scammed by the hotel.

Awful stay, staff was extremely unhelpful,some of them new, didn't know where is pharmacy, room was horrible no windows opening ,I will never ever return for 900 euro per night. I studied hospitality in Switzerland and know how should guests be treated. I lady and a rude ,seemed manager ,especially him that room can't be changed as he is expecting guests for luxe pack and we told them we are was the exhibition. He told us this is 3 days work and he will not do it!!!!!!horrible hotel! Looking at dirty terrace basement shit at 247

On the day of your arrival, you were kindly offered a complimentary early check-in at around 10:00 a.m. At approximately 12:00 p.m., you informed our team that you would like to change your room to a different category from the one originally reserved. Unfortunately, due to the hotel being at 100% occupancy, we were unable to accommodate this request on that particular day. We are sincerely sorry that we could not offer you a room change at that moment. However, our manager informed you that a room change could potentially be arranged the following day. Unfortunately, you did not return to the reception to follow up on this possibility. Regarding the service you experienced, we sincerely apologize if our team did not demonstrate the level of professionalism you expected. We did have a new member of staff joining our team during that week, and it is possible that they were not yet familiar with all the information and local recommendations. Nevertheless, we understand that this should not have affected your experience, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Thank you once again for your feedback. Easy walk from the train station. Very easy checkin. Excellent restaurant onsite. Only 10 minute walk to Casino Square or Port Hercule in another direction. Didn’t try the pool but looked a nice area.

Your staff was lovely, friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and comfortable. One small little detail, it’s not very easy to turn the shower off. Also, the heavy tissue holder underneath the sink, when I pulled a tissue out of it, smashed my toe, and the nail is going to fall off. But I’m happy about the Neapolitan restaurant you sent me to (il terrazzino) so no worry.
