No working AC in the room (was 30°C when I entered and only got down to 26°C overnight) and no proper shower doors leading to the entire bathroom floor getting soaked after a shower.

Review: Disappointing Stay – Avoid for Business Trips Rating: 1/5 Stars I recently stayed at the Ibis Budapest Central for four nights on a business trip, and it was a complete disaster. The air conditioning in my room was non-functional from day one. I reported this to the reception multiple times; each time I was told it was "being repaired," but no real action was ever taken. The "solutions" offered were unacceptable: The Window/Fan "Fix": I was told to sleep with the window open and given a fan. It was incredibly noisy and remained uncomfortably hot and sweaty. The Room Move: I requested a move to the courtyard side to escape the street noise. While it was slightly quieter regarding traffic, the AC still didn't work, and I was subjected to the loud humming of AC units from the adjacent building. I spent four nights in a stuffy, hot room without a single night of peaceful sleep. As a business traveler, I rely on a functional room to do my job. What disappointed me most was the lack of follow-up—no one bothered to check if the situation had improved or offer a sincere apology. I have already instructed my secretary to blackball this hotel and the brand from our future bookings. If you value sleep and customer service, stay elsewhere.

The hotel should have a bit of renovation to be classified as 3,5 stars. Breakfast was acceptable. Staff very kind.

The room was way too small. The room dimension wasn't described properly whilst I was booking the hotel.
