The ibis was a great location and the staff on check-in desk were absolutely lovely and really helpful. There's no fridge or tea/coffee making facilities in the room so need to be aware of that when booking. The room was extremely hot and we couldn't work the aircon or find a way to cool the room down however we didn't speak to reception so their may have been a way to do this. The tv signal was not great so the English channels did not work well for us which was not a big deal.

Regarding the room facilities, as an Ibis hotel, we follow our brand standards which do not include fridges or tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms, though our 24-hour bar is always at your service. We are sorry to hear that you found the room temperature uncomfortable and experienced issues with the TV signal. Please note for your next visit that our reception team is available 24 hours a day and would have been happy to assist you with the air conditioning settings or provide a technical solution for the television immediately. Staff are very pleasant and room was clean. However the lack of kettle in the room was very disappointing for us, who enjoy travel and have stayed in many hotels. Other than tap water, you pay for everything. Safe in the room was faulty, and after we were promised a replacement, it didn't happen. One member of staff was a credit however. Ball was really informative and helpful, suggesting places to eat for a start. He is a credit. However, the lack of a working safe and no kettle was an real inconvenience to us. And the heating in the room was 24.1. I tried to reduce it to 19 and it wouldn't change so turned it off and opened the window. Really not good enough.

I used to travel and accomodate in Ibis Hotels. This time I travel with my family and I did not want to get risk and I want to stay in a known and familiar brand I used to know; IBIS Hotels.However, overall impact is not good on me. wrong choice for me and i will not stay again. Normally I feel like that I am at home in IBIS hotels but this time I am suprised. Maybe, it is budapest and a touristic city. But, the hotel is old and furniture is not designed well. Even for liquid soap, unreasonably they attached almost 165 cm . it was disaster for my daughter. They put one extra bad but it did not suit the room. I prefer they did not put it. We are in communication age and they can make a call or during reservation they can ask as an option if I want an extra bad or not. It was totally wrong decison to put a third bad and it was not like shown in the pictures. Another problem room was smelling. We leave windows oper more than 6 hours but smell was still there. MAybe they clean the room after somebody somekes etc; but it was normally not right for my child to sleep that room. We try to decrease our stay in the hotel. Breakfast timing is clear but they can be more gentle. They come and ask us to continue the breakfast in the lobby. This is not right approach. ACCOR made a beautiful favor and application to give free dirnk after membership. But, we realized this second they by reading instructions on the wall. The receptionist did not tell us this during check-in. Hotel stuff see you as a customer, they just focus on the parts if you need to pay; for the rest they helped but it was not kind. I just stayed 2 days with my family and did not want to ruin it. For that reason; I did not leave the hotel and did not discuss with hotel stuff; at the I was in a foreigner country as a guest.
