If you’re sensitive to cigarette smell, avoid this hotel at all costs! I had to change rooms twice (502 and 612) - both on non-smoking floors, both non-smoking rooms, but still smell heavily like cigarette. Unfortunately, this is my non negotiable. I don’t smoke, my family don’t smoke, and I hate the cigarette smell to a tee. I couldn’t sleep without a face mask because I’m hyper sensitive to the smell, which is a shame because the location, value and staff hospitality was great. It could be from previous smoking guests, poor AC, poor housekeeping, or poor building ventilation, but point is - ACCOR should just ban smoking rooms altogether across all their hotels, including Ibis Hotels.
