We stayed for two nights for our daughters graduation at the Barbican Centre. We travelled by train to Paddington, and this afforded us a direct tube to the hotel. We dropped off our cases and went to explore befor our room was ready. During our stay we found that all staff were very helpful and customer service was of a high standard. Our room was as advertised, clean and had everything we needed. The only comment I would make is that the iron was not very good I needed to iron my husband shirt and it was very difficut with the iron we had. The breakfast was excellent, the restaurant staff were very good and we felt the room that we dinned in was very nice. We did not use the bar but that looked good too. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would recommend it.

1st nights stay was fine, on the 10th floor, room service, tv worked, cast to tv worked, shower worked, room air con worked. 2nd night was booked at a later date, and had to re pack my things and move to 6th floor. The Ibis room was completely different, noisy, could hear everything going on outside the room, some noisy plant/equipment on the roof outside my window kept me awake most of the night. tv signal was poor and couldn’t watch many of the channels, tv wasn’t connected to the network so couldn’t cast my own entertainment. Shower had a leak at the bottom of the hose so pressure was reduced when using.

Breakfast was ok. Reception people were not willing to help on anything. they should not be there. I asked that my room was not cleaned every other day, though the day that it was supposed to be cleaned looked exactly the same.

Easy check-in, polite and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms, and it was easy to get to the hotel from central travel locations.
