the bed and pillow is comfortable, the air conditioner is easily tuned. The only thing that is a bit annoying is the constant music from the corridor which is understandable since it's the national freedom celebration period. Still, it would be nice if the music sound volume tuned down a bit.

I have great experience staying at Mercure. I think it is well located, because it's near many good restaurants and shopping centers. There are gym facilities, restaurants, and comfortable rooms. The water bottles are quite hard to open for me; it will be good if you provide a bottle opener (I decided to just buy water outside, as I can't open any bottles from the hotel)

For the first time, I was disappointed with the service at Mercure level. It seems like Mercure in Manyar is the most disappointing thing during my stay at several other Mercures. The restaurant does not maintain cleanliness well and the food is not well-maintained. There are also restaurant waiters who are less active and care less about guests (my cappuccino order never came and easily said "forgot") I have several videos related to the things I complained about, this is not just 1 day but 3 days during my stay.

Before I begin the review, let me say that the front desk staff of the hotel have been extremely understanding and accommodating. They ensured most of my complaints were addressed. So this review isn't a reflection on them. They graciously changed my room three times due to the following issues I faced. But having said that, the hotel itself is a disaster. The walls were essentially thin cardboard and you could hear everything from the adjacent rooms—from people coughing their lungs out, sneezing, talking to having sex—literally everything. In the bathroom you hear some continuously banging noise coming from somewhere as if there is construction going on—maybe it's from the plumbing. You surely need ear plugs if you decide to get a good night's rest. There were mosquitos in the room I was given on the first night. There was also no hot water in the bathroom at night. It was at best luke-warm. The safe was not working and the sheets and pillow covers were stained. The couch was stained. The worst part about the first room was a serious hygiene issue. The commodes have a retractable bidet. It was covered in faeces. It was too disgusting to take a picture of but I showed it to the manager. After I complained they changed the room but I couldn't sleep properly because of loud neighbours in the adjacent room. The rooms overall aren't maintained well. There's water seepage and damaged furniture. I had to request a change of room again but even this room had loud neighbours and a poorly cleaned bathroom with hair everywhere. I just cleaned it myself and adjusted as this was my last night of the stay. So that's how I ended up staying in 3 different rooms during my 3 night stay. This hotel needs to be shut down and renovated. They first need to build proper walls in between rooms. They need to discard linen which isn't clean. Their housekeeping staff also needs proper training on how to clean neglected and hidden areas which are easy to miss.
