In terms of “amenities,” Mercure Manyar is more of a compact and modern business hotel: according to Accor's official website, the property has 90 rooms/suites (ranging from Superior to Executive Duplex), an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby bar, meeting rooms, and a gym. In the rooms, the highlights include a 50-inch HD TV, Wi-Fi, a mini fridge, a rain shower, and a safe. I liked the good quality of sleep because the beds were comfortable and the pillows were soft. The location is quite strategic; it is close to areas such as Galaxy Mall, Dr. Soetomo General Hospital, and Airlangga University, including Airlangga University Hospital where I spent a lot of time here. If you're looking for a neat, modern, and “straightforward” hotel for work—comfortable sleep, easy access to campus/hospital/mall areas, and a gym to maintain your routine—then this hotel is definitely worth visiting.
