The vehicle drop of procedure was a bit rubbish. Vehicle obviously permanently parked in the porta coche so need to park and walk half a block to the reception. Couldn't link streaming services to the TV. Bike in gym not plugged in or set up. All small things but detracted from the experience.

Novatel is a fantastic hotel to stay restaurant downstairs is quite good. Valet parking however was disappointing asked for the vehicle to be ready by 7:45am for the following morning as this was a business trip with time sensitive appointments, received the vehicle at 8:10am which unfortunately had me running late for the day.

You had planned ahead and made us aware that you needed the car by 7.45 am for time-sensitive business appointments, so you should have been able to rely on us to have it ready. Only things that would be nice are access to a TV that you can log into your own Netflix etc. I am normally very easy to please but I do have to mention the staff at the restaurant. The person behind the bar did not seem to want serve us. We waited for ages as he walked past us and did not serve us and another guy sitting there. Eventually we said “excuse me” can we order a drink. It was very unusual … the other person the had to ask as well … anyway we were going to eat there but decided to go elsewhere.

We were given an upgrade so had a lovely view of the river. The rooms are lovely and clean.

Room comfortable, New and fresh. Dining for breakfast was a joke. The buffet was substandard and front office staff were rude. Ridiculous that parking is on site but you can’t park your own vehicle in the hotel car park. There should be a self parking option because there’s minimal places to park around the area.

I can also appreciate how disappointing it would have been to begin your day with a breakfast buffet that did not meet your expectations. Your comments regarding the freshness and selection have been shared with our Food and Beverage team for review. I understand your frustration with our valet parking arrangement when you would have preferred the convenience of parking your own vehicle, particularly with limited public parking nearby. from my check in, which was smooth, warm and friendly, to valet, restaurant and domestic staff, everyone was smiling, professional, friendly and relaxed. Room was spotless and well appointed, and beautifully decorated. Excellent location.
