Stayed 2 nights in an ocean view room. Decent sized room with very comfy bed and great water pressure in shower. Loved that we could stand on our balcony and watch the Spirit of Tasmania arrive/depart from the port. Beautiful stay, would absolutely stay again and highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Devonport.

We chose this hotel because of its amenities and proximity to town. It is located right by the harbour and city centre. We stayed in room 340 enjoying views across the adjacent parks and the mouth of the Mersey River. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean and well kept. The staff are friendly and down to earth. The restaurant menu is basically an asian menu but the chef is amenable to cooking up whatever you would like within reason. As a Diamond Accor member, we were well looked after and received a lovely welcome gift of wine and a cheese platter. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast consisting of a hot and cold buffet as well as regular breads, toast and pastries. We were entertaining our grandchildren when we were there and hotel staff could not have been kinder to them. They also enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful location, lovely facilities. The only slight inconvenience was the valet parking on arrival which was a bit messy but there were quite a few cars arriving at around the same time.

First time this year, and this stay got me to 60 nights, I have not received a room upgrade as a Platinum member. My previous stay here I had a wonderful room. Room was clumsy with 2 queen beds, only needed one, with bed lights in middle so one for one bed and one for other. My husband had no bedside table or light. He pulled a chair over, near foot of bed, for his watch, book etc. The room was too full of beds! A welcome bowl of fruit went in the bin, a brown overripe banana, 2 strawberries about to get mushy, sad looking blueberries- all had to go in the bin so we didn't have deteriorating fruit for the 3 days. Paid for valet parking, my car, electric, was charged 1st two nights, final day it was returned at 35%, and we needed to return to Hobart, so we had to go to the carpark next door, pay parking and charging fee. Lucky we weren't in a rush. No parking discount for my loyalty and thought, oh well at least I save on charging. We should have just parked in the street.

My daughter and 3 grandchildren stayed here recently. Comfy beds, great views from both our ocean view rooms, buffet brekky nice, only disappointment was when it came to checking out we were informed we could collect the bag trolley ourself and take to room then push this down to checkout loaded with all of our bags and out to our car.... We were 2 adults, 3 children aged 9,8 and 6.
