Only things that would be nice are access to a TV that you can log into your own Netflix etc. I am normally very easy to please but I do have to mention the staff at the restaurant. The person behind the bar did not seem to want serve us. We waited for ages as he walked past us and did not serve us and another guy sitting there. Eventually we said “excuse me” can we order a drink. It was very unusual … the other person the had to ask as well … anyway we were going to eat there but decided to go elsewhere.

Room comfortable, New and fresh. Dining for breakfast was a joke. The buffet was substandard and front office staff were rude. Ridiculous that parking is on site but you can’t park your own vehicle in the hotel car park. There should be a self parking option because there’s minimal places to park around the area.

Generally good but you need to be able to park in the carpark or have staff on hand at all times to move cars away from parking area which is way, way too small.

Checkin at reception was not welcoming. There was no greeting, rather the first words from the male at reception was “ I just need your photo id and credit card” with no smile or even asking how we are. On checkout around 1000 there was no “ how was your stay” rather he state “ it was a good room” which I would have thought that this is something a customer should say when asked how was our stay. When walking past reception on multiple occasions the staff would not smile and just look at us and we were the ones initiating a “hello”. I was informed that car would be out front at 10am ( which it wasn’t) on checkout which I had to remind the staff after checkout was complete that we had a car. They then promptly went and retrieved the car. The person collecting the car was friendly as was the person serving drinks in the bar the previous night. The room was really nice. Unfortunately the staff let the experience down and was well below other properties we stayed at whilst in Tasmania and also well below how we have been greeted during other stays throughout Australia and overseas.

Arrived at the hotel and was suprised to find it was valet parking, made difficult with no space to park for the valet. All staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and stocked with everything needed. The bathroom was poorly designed with the door opening onto the shower glass, but clean and had everything I needed. The room service menu was quite limited, although I suspect it changes depending on when you look at it and how busy the kitchen is. I ordered a steak, which was well presented and tasty when it arrived, albeit cold and about 45mins late (additional to the 50 mins estimated). I could not fault the staff. They were the highlight of my stay.
