All was fine ( greeting, valet, room quality, location etc ) until we checked out. I had pre paid for this 1 night stay and was charged another 2 times upon check out! Totalling 3 separate charges for 1 room and 1 night. Obviously I questioned this with the front desk staff and I supplied proof in a bank screenshot. I was assured a swift refund and later received 2 refund emails but due to the usual delay in transaction processing I am still to receive a refund 2 days later. My question is HOW DID THIS HAPPEN? I could probably understand an oversight of being charged a second time but twice more?? Very very frustrating experience I must say. Novotel Devonport, you dropped the ball.

Check in great. Room great. Location great Both the Tuesday and Wednesday night at the bar the young supervisor and her colleague who had a nose ring need an absolute rocket up them re their behaviour and attitude.

Everything was as expexred except the couches in the room were really thilthy and possibly also the carpet but it was too dark to be sure. We also suspect the shower gel container had been refilled with a cheap no brand product not the one one the label as it s oured our skin.

Need Better parking options/facilities. Incorrect Billing: charge for my accommodation was applied to my personal CC, rather than to the company account. Room service was very prompt and polite. Rooms are spacious and clean.
