My stay was comfortable and pleasant, and breakfast was fine. The hardest part was accessing the hotel in the late evening. The signage and instructions could be improved. There were several cars backed up trying to park for guest registration. It was potentially dangerous.

The Novotel Devonport is truly a Jem. From the moment we set foot inside the hotel we were treated with such professional hospitality, that we felt welcomed and looked after. The staff are true professionals with fantastic ethics. The rooms are divine and Lucious shame we couldn't spend more time in them. The location is superb. So central, which is perfect for any wondering guest. Plus the fact that there is a restaurant and bar inside the hotel adds a life to the lobby. So vibrant, great vibes. The Novotel Devonport was the warm welcome to Tasmania that we needed to reassure us that our travelling adventure was going to be a trip to remember. Highly recommend a stay at this Fabolous hotel.

Well located. Close to many food options. Lovely deck/promenade overlooking the ocean/Spirit of Tasmania etc. Valet parking available (or $10 discounted self parking at close by public carpark overnight). Hotel bar/restaurant staff was v nice and accommodating. Surprised with room upgrade as staff did not mention this at check in.
