The hotel was fine, but a long walk to Zocalo

the front desk agent at check-in was pleasant and welcoming, however, I requested a quiet room and was given one next to the elevators facing a wall with fake plastic greenery which I could tolerate for a quick overnight stay. the problem was that when guests were assigned to adjoining room, the noise level was unacceptable but the guests themselves were not the issue it was the poor/cheap construction of the hotel which provided for zero noise reduction efforts between the rooms. i could hear every word clearly from the other guests which went on until way past midnight when I expected to get a restful sleep during my stay. as a returning guest to the property, this is my last stay. never again.
