We have used Ibis hotels before in Europe, and this experience in Mexico City was not what we were expecting. The location of the hotel was excellent, close to many food options, the Metro was next door, and walking distance to numerous cultural sites. Staff was friendly. The breakfast was good, but later restaurant options and bar options within the hotel were limited. Rooms were small with little space for luggage and belongings.

This last experience was bad because bad attitude from recepcionist and women in buffet, I tried to extend additional days to my stay but no one can help with that, sorry.

Location is great (it's more like 1 minute from Juarez subway station, than 3 minutes as google says), Palace of Fine Arts (magnificent) is a block away, there is a number of eateries around and transportation to a number of main attractions is relatively easy. Staff is friendly enough and take care of issues, if they arise, promptly. Breakfasts are great with a variety of options to choose from. Hotel itself is a little bit worn out, and the beds don't scream "comfortable", but it's clean and has everything one may need.
