We just returned from a five-day stay at Sofitel Mexico City, and it genuinely set a new benchmark for what hotel hospitality can look like. From the moment we arrived, every detail was handled with care, warmth, and a level of attentiveness that felt personal rather than performative. Two of the employees, Julian and Rodrigo, went above and beyond at every turn. The service was truly impeccable across the board, but the concierge team deserves special recognition. They were not just attentive, they were anticipatory, always one step ahead and genuinely invested in making our stay exceptional. Highlights included them securing tickets to a lucha libre match for us, something we hadn’t even been sure was possible, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable evenings of the entire trip. The hotel itself is stunning, and the blend of French elegance with the energy of Mexico City is seamlessly executed. But what will bring us back is the people and fabulous service we received. In five days, we never once felt like just another guest. If you are considering a stay in Mexico City, do not hesitate. And if Julian and Rodrigo are there, you are in extraordinarily good hands.

From the moment we arrived from our Uber to the moment we checked out we were treated exceptionally.
