Expedia booking stated "all rooms include free breakfast". We were not informed of any free option, only telling us to eat breakfast in the outdoor buffet breakfast area. I discussed with hotel management. They said they would not charge us for breakfast without 1st discussing with me after talking with Expedia. I received the bill, and then only after I reached out to the hotel did they say that no free breakfast was included with our room. Overall, of 3 Mexico hotels in which we stayed, Mondrian was the only hotel that did not offer free breakfast, and was also the most mediocre hotel in which we stayed. We will not recommend Mondrian to other fellow travelers

second time w issues. bad smell across the whole 5th floor. I'm gold member and got the worst rooms facing street with noise. hotel took a month to send me invoice, charging me a soda i didn't consume, and double-charged me for a breakfast i paid separately. Hotel still can't solve for this.

Location is great. Had a couple issues with the room. The shower basin pooled and drained slowly. The door did not have the security latch. Someone came into our room in the early morning, presumably hotel staff. Was also told by the restaurant hostess we had a credit to use for breakfast so we stayed to eat there. Was not the case and service was under par.

We came to the hotel to celebrate our recent wedding and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful: from umbrellas for the rain to helping me out with transportation. A big thank you to the concierge for helping us book a private tour to Xochimilco! That was the highlight of the trip. Also, we loved seeing Pepina around the hotel. She is the sweetest
