I had an overall lovely stay! Well located and great amenities. The only real bummer was the shower drain was absolutely disgusting (from day 1). It was stinky and very clogged. The sink drain was also poorly installed so to get it to drain I just took out the stopper. Other than the drain issues, the room and bathroom was great; awesome decor, comfy pillows, and comforter.

It is a well located hotel and has enough to offer. Only thing I missed is that de window couldn't open more. With this warm weather I would have liked to open the window more to get more fresh air into the room. Also the parking lot was a maze. I parked B-2 but when I check-out, went to -2 I couldn't find b-2. When I went up to -1 then I saw a sign that pointed to b-2 and used the staircase. So the sinage inside the parking lot can be improved. Same goes for the exit signs to the hotel inside the parking. At the first time I was very confused becuase I had a room in Adagio Access, not inside IBIS. But the only exit sign I found was for IBIS. So I just went with it and assumed I had to walk to the correct hotel. It would be nice if the signs inside the parking lot also have the lgo of the Adagio Acces hotel.

The only reason we marked down was the fact that we had driven from Italy that morning, arrived fairly late after a 13 hour journey to be told upon checking in that the car park (which we used on way to holiday two weeks prior) was full. And they couldnt provide us with any space. There was 5 of us with luggage and we had to find a space on the street about half a mile away from the hotel. There was a festival on in the town and this was the reason for the lack of car parking which in itself is fine but I feel that this should have been mentioned when booking considering the hotel states on site parking for guests.

Overall, the stay wasn't great. Although the check-in and check-out process went smoothly and the staff were friendly, the room had a strong smell of cooked food. We opened the window as soon as we arrived, but the odor lingered throughout our stay. On top of that, the bed sheets had a damp, musty smell, which made us question the cleanliness of the room. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The hotel was wonderful- everything you needed for a great vacation! Location, laundry room, bar with simple Menu, well stocked store, entertainment area, and for the World Cup they had a big screen on the patio by the pub. I highly recommend getting the breakfast package- oh and the staff were so super friendly and helpful. We will be using this hotel and their brand much more now.

I booked a twin room and got given a double. The staff at reception tried to help but all they could offer was Ibis budget for first night and then to switch to a twin room on second night in Adagio which obviously was no use to me as would have meant having to change rooms. Also I paid for the parking in advance for one day but then got charged for leaving the parking on both days so got charged for three days parking even though I was only at the hotel for less than two. Otherwise the hotel was convenient for Ghent and the little kitchen area was extremely useful. I would stay here again provided I could have a twin room and was not overcharged for the parking.

Great stay comfortable clean and great staff - my favourites were the bar team who always made sure I could have a lemon and ginger tea or a non alcoholic aperol (cordino) this made me very comfortable. Great air con. Only downside was check in took a while and there is a little bit of mould on the tile grout in the showers that needs spraying

Although the location, parking and service staff were very good the room itself was not great. Unfortunately in the middle of summer someone decided to leave our room window open and when we checked in the room was full of mosquitoes which ended up biting my son and him having an adverse reaction. We spent the rest of the day going to pharmacies looking for medication… the shower was quite dirty with black mould growing in the tile grout. Kitchen utensils were unclean as was the room in general. Cleaning beds to be improved significantly. This hotel has great potential but they need to address the hygiene issues and do some pest control.
