Location is great in walking distance of the city, staff is helpful and friendly, accommodation is OK, rooms are rather small so need to book room for 4 if staying longer period. Only once a week cleaning and change of towels is not enough and could be improved e.g. every 5 days. Price/ quality is high because of high cost of breakfast and parking as well as the room. Is not really an extended stay price but hotel price but without the daily service.

Many options for breakfast, including gluten-free bread and granola. The apartment was small, but clean. The kitchen was provided with everyting needed. The staff was friendly and professional. However, in one of the corners of the shower there was a bit of mold. The pillows were too soft for my taste.

AparthotelAdagio Access Gent Centrum Dampoort is a fabulous property. It iswell managed – I asked for extra bed sheets, help with the non-functioning ACand dead battery room safe and go help in less than 30 minutes. Theproperty is 10 minutes from Damport Rail Station – I used it for low cost, highspeed rail connections to Antwerp, Mechelen, Brussels, Bruges and Lille,France. Thereis a Carrefour large grocery store very close to Dampoort Station and I used itto buy breakfast and snack food foods for the full kitchen in the aparthotel. Thenights were quiet, the bed was comfy, the bathroom was luxurious and the showerhad lots of warm water. A beeron the waterfront patio from the Hotel’s Eat In restaurant was great and oneday I fueled up on the breakfast buffet. It is a10 minute walk to restaurants and shops and only a 20 minute walk to the centerof lively and historic Ghent. There also are buses that stop next to Dampoortstation, which will take you very close to the town center as well as otherinteresting parts of Ghent. I usedthis as a base for nearly a week in Belgium and I would highly recommend that.

Super location, easy to find and 5 min walk from Dampoort Station Railway and Bus. It was a good 20mins into the main historic centre, but once there for 24hrs we found our way and hotel was super convenient. Facilities excellent, did need to turn the thermostat up in the fridge 1st night it froze everything 🤣 but all the equipment we needed was there. Room was spotless, housekeeping on request for stays of 1week and less, this suited us perfectly, extra towels etc just asked. Air con in room worked great, lighting in most rooms is poor, NOT here! the lighting was very good. Really had everything we needed. Enough space, in room safe, think there were USB C charge points on the sockets we didn’t use as we have a multi adapter as few hotels have the UCB C yet. Really can’t fault this place it was Perfect. The staff are friendly, efficient and really helpful.

I had an overall lovely stay! Well located and great amenities. The only real bummer was the shower drain was absolutely disgusting (from day 1). It was stinky and very clogged. The sink drain was also poorly installed so to get it to drain I just took out the stopper. Other than the drain issues, the room and bathroom was great; awesome decor, comfy pillows, and comforter.
