The receptionist at check-in was excellent—friendly, efficient, and made a great first impression. Unfortunately, the room itself was on the smaller side and didn’t feel as well-maintained as expected. The bathroom vents were noticeably dusty and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time, which was disappointing. Towels provided were also quite worn, with some appearing old and slightly ripped. On a more positive note, breakfast was enjoyable with a good selection, and the staff in the dining area were warm, attentive, and welcoming. Overall, while the service was a highlight, the cleanliness and upkeep of the room could definitely be improved to enhance the overall guest experience.

This is the perfect hotel for visiting Gent. Location is central to all the attractions, bars, shops. Lovely view from our room over cathedral. Bar/ restaurant is comfortable with same lovely view and good price for drinks. Friendly welcome on check in. Gent is a beautiful place, would recommend this hotel and would certainly visit again.
