Room small but well thought out. Breakfast very good. Staff very friendly but one morning at breakfast not so helpful.

+ Location is good - Some hair on my bed when I arrived. I asked them to changed. They promised me drinks for the apologies but the drinks never come till I left. They changed new bed cover. One of the reception was a bit arrogant. Don't know if I am gonna stay in the future.

Excellent location that's convenient to all attractions and walkable to the Dampoort train station. I was given a quiet room as I have requested (and it's so quiet I can't hear the church bells toll), and also upgraded to a larger room. On the downside, housekeeping could improve - upon check-in, the room was tidy, but some crumbs was on a chair and an empty water bottle found half-hidden at the foot of the open wardrobe.

I love Ibis hotels. The rooms are well insulated and quiet, simply furnished and clean. The location of the Ghent Ibis is super, close to everything. The breakfast was delicious and the staff professional and friendly.

I enjoyed the friendly welcome by hotel staff and the functional design of the rooms. The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows. The only downside was the lighting in the bathroom, which was neither pleasant nor particularly helpful. I can't say I appreciated the "art" surrounding the TV – the fake bookshelf. But the room itself, the comfort and overall experience, were very pleasant indeed.

The hotel is situated in the pedestrian zone right across from the cathedral. The room we were given was large and spacious with a wonderful view of the belfry tower. The breakfast was great with scrambled eggs, sausage, sliced meats, cheeses, assorted breads and condiments. Migena, at the bar, was friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay here again!

Location is perfect. Hotel is newly renovated but experience is poor because of: - bad smell in all rooms - noisy heat/aircon - staff not very kind - scarce choice for breakfast with very low quality products
