The location is definitely the highlight. But the lack of information around parking reservation, customer service, and maintenance of the room are major points of improvement.

We understand the inconvenience this caused and extend our apologies for any oversight in communicating this information effectively. Regarding your observations on room maintenance, we take pride in our daily housekeeping service and are disheartened that we fell short of our standards during your stay. Had a bit of trouble with my reservation which was entirely my fault. Staff member at desk (young Asian guy) was extremely patient and helpful. Lobby, bar and restaurant appeared fine and the overall look of the hotel was pleasing. Room was a decent size but quite spartan and accessories were minimal. For a lower price this would be ok but prices in Gent tend to not be low and the hotel was no exception.

Superb location, with the cathedral across the street, and the beautiful old city and canals, and tram routes, within a few minutes walk. Room was small and simple, but modern and clean with an unforgettable view of St Baafsplein. Vegan cafe for breakfasts less than 100 metres away, and Gent has plenty of choice for plant-based eating.
