BED BUGS! Room 327! about 20 bites. Will never stay there again when in Gent.

Dear Mr. P., Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. We are very concerned to read about your experience regarding the discomfort caused by pests in your room. Our guests’ well-being is our top priority, and we are currently reviewing the situation in the room to ensure that it is thoroughly addressed and rectified with the right following up accordingly. Additionally, we regret to hear that the condition of your room, including the heating and air-conditioning, did not provide the level of comfort we strive to offer. We understand how integral a clean and well-maintained environment is to an enjoyable stay, and we apologize if we fell short in this regard. We take the issue of noise seriously and are looking into ways to ensure our rooms offer the tranquility guests expect, even during lively city. Though our hotel is equipped with double glazing and soundproof doors to provide a restful atmosphere, we acknowledge your feedback indicates that we have areas to improve upon. The hotel was central and had parking - important for my mobility-impaired companion. I had a problem with my room and I was moved without fuss. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Wonderful location in the centre of historic Ghent. Very easy to walk to restaurants outside cafes and all the main attractions. The station is a shortish bus ride or tram ride away. Super room with a decent size bed. I'd skip the breakfast though; try Cafe Rosario across the street instead.

I have seen some poor reviews of this hotel, however our experience was totally different to the poor experiences. I found the staff friendly and helpful. The parking was described as difficult for large cars. I had no problem with a Nissan X Trail down there. The location is fantastic and very central. But do remember to register your car on the ulez website. We got easy access for the disabled parking. The reception staff helped us in .we would like to say it was a really nice stay.
