The location is amazing, right in the city center, but in a quiet area. The hotel is quite dated, but the room was adequate and they’re trying to enhance the guest experience with nice amenities, like the sandy beach area around the pool or the private sauna. The underground parking is a great perk, but not for the faint of heart. Even though we had received written confirmation that a parking spot had been reserved for us, upon arrival we were told the garage was full and that we should try to bring the car in the following day. There is a public parking garage really close to the hotel, but we decided to secure a space at the hotel again once we arrived and were reassured that time it had been reserved, only to be told the next day that you can’t reserve a spot unless it is also paid for in advance. This requirement was not communicated to us, not in the original confirmation e-mail, not in person by the staff member who checked us in, so it sounded like an excuse and not a clear policy, that just made the whole parking situation frustrating.

I love the beach theme at the hotel and its location. I have to say Mr. Rodolfo at the front desk made the difference. He was the one who checked us in, but the room was not ready. At 3 pm, we came back and he remembered my name. After getting to the room, we found that the fridge was not working. Before going out to explore the city, we told him about the refrigerator, and he said he would take care of it. When we came back, he had gone home and the fridge was replaced with a functional one. This is what I called "GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE". Thank you.
