i had an unpleasant room experience during my stay at your hotel. I stayed at the hotel for three nights, the first night I was awakened by itchy skin. I didn't give it too much attention, but it happened again the next night. At last night, I found bedbugs in bed and checked in at the front desk. I showed the receptionist photos of bugs, bites and blood on the sheets. the receptionist moved me to another room during the night which he can personally confirm. in the morning, at check-out he took my contact information and I expected a response from you. However, it has been 5 days since my departure and no one contacted me. I find this very unprofessional on your part, since I expected an apology and a refund for a stay that turned into a traumatic experience. I'll leave you some more time to reply before leaving a review on Booking.com through which I made my reservation. I hope for a positive response from you. Ivan R.

Generally, this was a good hotel with all facilities required and nicely located. For me some minor aspects were the carpets in the room and the bathroom which was not very well cleaned (some stains of previous occupant still visible)

This was my second stay in your hotel and this time I enjoyed the experience even more. I very much hope I will have an opportunity to visit Ghent during a warm month and in addition to everything else, enjoy your swimming pool.

The hotel is located right in the centre of the city so getting around is very easy and you can walk to all attractions. The hotel was clean and tidy everything you expect from a Novotel hotel.

We had rooms overlooking the building site - woken up by alarms at 4:30am from that site and then again at 5am with the work force arriving and working. We were moved after complaining to the front desk but only because the manager on duty (who was super helpful) overheard us talking to the receptionist who told us that there was nothing they could do. Reception was also very unhelpful when we asked for specific directions to places and could give us no recommendations for restaurants for dining. All in all we found the whole experience at Novotel one of frustration but on a positive breakfast was good.

Usual basic hotel. I did not request breakfast. On checkout the bill had breakfasts added and of course they do a 5am “fast checkout” knowing people run off without looking at the pre made bills. Reception says this is standard process to add breakfasts for anyone who does not request it. Invoicing for services not requested nor rendered is fraud. This hotel chain should be avoided.

Ghent city trip. Very easy to checkin. We got the room very early. Standard Novotel room. Very nice bar and breakfast.

We were very well received and the staff was particularly helpfull. The location is central to visit this beautifull city and the "Agneau Mystique" The access by car is difficult because it is located in a pedestrian area (no cars), but there is a good parking in the hotel.

Room ok, well cleaned. high sound from outside even if I lived on floor 4. Breakfast was never ready when 06:30 always have to wait for bread.

Very good location, near restaurants, shops, and other attractions. Breakfast was good, although there was sometime confusion amongst guests whether to wait to be seated or not. The room was as expected for a mid-range hotel; comfortable bed and useful features, including room safe, but nothing fancy. More sockets and having guest information in the rooms would be appreciated.

Water in shower was basically a trickle, couldn't adjust the strength. Bed was very uncomfortable, right side of bed had a significant lack of support, middle bar made it difficult to lay on an angle to compensate for the lack of support. A bug (silver fish) crossed over my bed as I was sitting on it. I killed it. I declined breakfast on 2nd morning due to departure at 6:30am but I was still charged, had to reverse charge before departing

Put the bed 30cm further from the wall for more comfort. Now it is difficult to get in or out of bed. Very nice breakfast and good bed. Clean room and bathroom. Pleasant stay in the heart of the city.

We had a great stay in Ghent the hotel is right in the centre. There is very limited parking but travelling out of season we had a space which made life much simpler than if we hadn't a space. First class breakfast friendly and helpful staff. We had a minor issue with our room and were moved immediately no fuss. Highly recommended as has been our experience with the Novotel brand within the group.

I stay in this resort some times a year, very closed historic center and city pearling, nice staff, excellent breakfast, nice rooms, small fitness zone. The bar corner has a little menu, kitchen is right.

The hotel is great, with a great structure, great breakfast and also am excelent service. One unique complaint is that for some reason I didn´t receive my ALL points. Even though I did not booked via online travel agency.
