Right around the corner from the hotel you will also find the heart of the shopping district, as well as many bars and restaurants to enjoy.

Convenient travel connections, only a 30-minute drive to Bruges and less than one hour to Brussels and Antwerp. Ideal point of departure to visit the four most famous medieval cities in Flanders.

Our hotel is an excellent choice for exploring the historical and cultural city of Ghent. The opera and theatre are close to the hotel and the popular shopping street Veldstraat is within 3 minutes by foot.

The hotel forgot to mention the roads were all broken up en though I had especially mentioned I came with a lot of luggage and wanted to park in their garage. Couldn’t get to it, worse , I had to park a 14 minute walk away with two big suitcases and two carry ons and walk through the city in 30 degrees with broken up roads, so crossing sand with all that. When I left the next day both elevators were broken and I had to carry everything down myself from the third floor!! I had to learn from a guy in the room next door after waiting forever. There were no signs on it, not a phone number for help.

We booked our room a week ago, chose the hotel specifically for its parking and the location at the edge of the city centre. A day before we arrived we received an email that parking would be unavailable due to construction work, and were given the information of a near by parking spot - which was fine. However the extent of the construction work was never mentioned, we were woken up at seven in the morning by loud noises due to the removal of asphalt and tram rails. Not ideal on a leisurely trip. On top of that we booked a room with two singles. We arrived at 15.30, so the room should have been available which it wasn’t, after only a few minutes we were told it was but when we went upstairs - the room was still set up as a double. We changed it up ourselves, so why the extra wait? It was only a slight inconvenience but I still want to mention it.
