Well located, good secure parking, good breakfast, clean and comfortable although the room was pretty small. Staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located close to the historical city centre. Rooms are small, but comfortable and equipped with the ibis Sweet Bed. Good breakfast.

Very friendly check in. We also bought Ghent cards here. Room small but cosy, everything was clean and we slept well. Location very good and was walkable to main parts of city. Plus not far from tram line which was a 20 minute journey to railway station. The only bad part was a confusing discrepancy between trip.com and Ibis. I paid nearly all of the cost up front with a city tax payable on arrival. All fine which I did. However on leaving I was told a further payment of around 30 euros was needed to make up the difference. Very confusing when you are quoted one price then have to pay a extra amount. I would stay at Ibis again, however be wary of using trip.com.

It was fine! Check in took a long time - even if I had remembered to check in online, it would still have taken forever, as the two women in front of us and the hotel receptionist seemed to have nothing else to do for the next few days. But once it was our turn, it was fine. The bedroom was slightly small, but I only used it for sleeping. The location is fantastic! Breakfast was very good - lovely fresh food. We had a pizza on our first night from the bar - exactly what we needed.
