Rooms were a bit small, but fine. Air conditioning was installed but make a lot of noise. We asked the hotel to keep our luggage for a couple of hours (4pm) while we visited the city and it makes is pay 20EUR for that, because the room that usually is used for that now was used for covid stuff storage (masks,..). all other hotels offered that service to us for free. Location is very good.

However, our air-conditioning system should not have been disturbing you and we are sorry you didn't let us know at the time os that we could have had it checked. Regrettably, due to the Covid-19 safety protocol, we are currently not allowed to store luggage because of the risk of contamination, however, it can be kept in your room until 12 noon or a late check out until 4 pm can be chosen for a small surcharge, which you mention. Fast online check-in & out. Friendly staff. I panicked shortly when I entered the door & could hear other guests talking & laughing a few rooms away. Noise was luckily no problem during the night. My & most rooms are far away from the street-noise allso. Room is small but functional. All in all good stay.

Nice located and great beds, but extremely small shower and breakfast wasn't good. Maybe this was due to Corona, but the options were terrible. Well actually you had no options at all. It was prepared already. I think Camembert isn't a great option for breakfast.

The location of this hotel makes it a great choice if you go to Ghent, it has a tram stop just in front for those days when you're tired and want to come back by it from the city center, but normally you can walk just a bit and be in the Medieval Old Town, which is beautiful. The rooms are nice and have what you need. I would only suggest a couple of things, to add a fridge to the rooms and to be able to regulate the A/C because we left our dog and we had to ask for someone to enter at 1pm in the room to turn it on again. This was done and we're thankful for that. In the middle of COVID the hotel is doing a great work, you ave disinfectant gel for your hands in every floor and also they are keeping everyone satisfied and trying to make you feel that you care. I highly recommend this hotel and its personnel.

It was ok. Airco very loud. When I wanted to use the toilet after I checked out, reception would not allow me to use the bathroom...

A very good, comfortable hotel. Great staff who would do anything for you. Very well stocked bar, some great beers, I'm a country of great beers. Only one complaint - only one bedside table in the room.

Stayed at the IBIS Opera Centrum by mistake (I meant to book the IBIS Kathedral). The room was rather small but newly refurbished, so that was fine. The bed was very comfortable. I found the cube with sockets and USB ports very helpful. The bathroom was tiny; I am very petite was was still banging in the walls; would not be suitable for some by tall or large. The worst for me was the cigarette smoke smells in the corridor outside my room, which also permeate in the room.

As a tourist the location is very good because (if you want) it is possible to walk to all the main sights. The staff were always very helpful, polite and always friendly. This made a very good impression. We would recommend the Ibis to our friends without reservation.

This is a good location: by a tram stop, near the old centre. I also found the staff very friendly. However beyond that this was a rip off, even for a budget hotel. The walls and doors must be paper thin, as I could hear my neighbours arriving, leaving, talking, shouting into their phones. Work was being done upstairs from about 8am so no chance of a lie in. The room was clearly very energy efficient as it was roasting. Combined this meant I barely slept.

Great location, staff were friendly. I would of liked warning that there was building work across from my room so as I could have brought ear plugs but I cannot fault the hotel.

The reception staff were exceptional. They advised which restaurants to book then made the booking. This made a big difference to our experience in Gent. The room was clean, albeit small, but that was not a problem as we did not spend much time in it.
