The ibis hotel is located in the city centre of Ghent, close to all major tourist attractions such as the Gravensteen Castle, the Belfry and the Graslei Canal, where you will find some of the most beautiful guild houses in the whole of Belgium. Take a stroll along the banks of the river Leie and soak up the atmosphere of the city Ghent. Right around the corner from the hotel you will also find the heart of the shopping district, as well as many bars and restaurants to enjoy.

Convenient travel connections, only a 30-minute drive to Bruges and less than one hour to Brussels and Antwerp. Ideal point of departure to visit the four most famous medieval cities in Flanders.

Our hotel is an excellent choice for exploring the historical and cultural city of Ghent. The opera and theatre are close to the hotel and the popular shopping street Veldstraat is within 3 minutes by foot.

Reception staff were lovely. The room was ok but it felt cramped and the bed topper drifted off the mattress so I felt like I might drift out myself! It was my own mistake to book a room without a kettle / tea & coffee making facilities but I honestly expected that to be standard nowadays. The breakfast was good and a wide choice available. It felt pricey for the standard but I appreciate it was in the Festival.
