The rooms and halls are super ugly designed and decorated. The bed is really uncomfortable because of the mattress and small size of the bed. Even tho I asked the cleaners to clean our room, no toilet paper was added even though we needed it, the towels were unchanged, the bed was left the way I made it, everything was untouched, except the garbage, which was taken. The only good this was the staff and breakfast, which was above average, compared to other similar hotes or even better hotels in the area. Also, if you don't get a membership with their hotel group, you have to pay everyday to park your car in their parking lot, which is a lot of money in the end and is really stupid. All in all, it wasn't that bad, but it also wasn't a good stay.

The hotel is close to the green area Arsenal Park and only 30 min walk or 5-10 min by car from the city center. The room was spacious, comfortable, staff was helpful, breakfast was varied, healthy and on departure day we left our luggage for a few hours in the hotel luggage room, which was of great help.

Our stay at the Ibis Styles Sibiu Arsenal was very pleasant however there were things that can’t go unnoticed. Let me start with good things- room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was varied and delicious. The downside of our stay was staff shortage at the breakfast, during two very busy days there was one member of breakfast team that did his best (big thanks to Sebastian) to refill buffet and clean tables however because of ignorant management that didn’t foreseen that, people had no place to sit due to tables occupied by dirty dishes. Big problem during our stay was reception, those people need soft skills training. When we arrived we were ignored, receptionist (who we believe was either front desk manager or someone senior on her position) instead of acknowledging us with just simple “ I will be there with you in a second”, walked away. The next day we asked for our safe to be fixed, she took a note but nothing happened. We we went to report that safe remained unfixed another young female receptionist was leaving voice messages to someone on her phone, ignoring us and saying something in Romanian in a sense: “my colleague will take care of you”. Luckily showed out very professional male receptionist who not only took matter in his hand by fixing our safe himself but also show the highest level of professionalism that both of female receptionist should learn from.
