Amazing Anniversary Weekend at Mercure Hotel!

My wife and I spent our anniversary weekend at the Mercure Sibiu Arsenal Hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience. A special thanks to Adelina, Andreea and the team for helping me prepare a beautiful surprise for my wife – it was truly the highlight of our stay! I highly recommend Adelina, Andreea and the team for any special celebrations, as they went above and beyond to make our time extra special. The hotel is modern and well-kept, with great facilities. The location is fantastic, and we particularly loved the pool – a real bonus for relaxation. The breakfast was good but could use a bit more variety. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning!

We stayed in the first days after opening (when not even all floors were finished) and decided to return January 2025. Mercure Arsenal is a hotel with a good location, nice rooms (although quite small for its standards), very comfortable beds for a good sleep and with a versatile underground parking However it can do better in some areas : - breakfast is 3 stars the best ; it was way better during our first stay ; but now Ibis guests (the sister hotel near Mercure) have breakfast in the same area, therefore the quality and diversity is aligned at the lower standard. Also there was no butter for the entire stay (apparently supplier not working during holidays - but this can be solved through better purchase management - restaurant menu could be improved ; during our first stay the menu was better - we could not understood the climate controls ; if turned on, whatever was the temperature set, the heat was the same - hot ; it was ok to leave the controls on off - pool can be quite busy sometimes, also because the Ibis quests can use it also. Overall, for us, with All membership and a family offer (thank you for this), was a good value for money. However, if all the services are the same for Mercure and Ibis guests, I do not understand why paying more just for the Mercure room.
