The hotel arranged a room for me, to where I had to go up stairs and steps, even though I have a ALL gold status and brought a carry case. In addition to the hotel did not provide any welcome drink or voucher, even though I am ALL gold status holder.

At Mercure, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us,but you received exactly the room type that the agency ,trough wich you have made the reservation, has reserved and the hotel ,also was fully booked so there where no other rooms available .Also you where not eligible for any welcome drink or upgrade as the reservation code was not eligible. Please check alll elligible rates on accor.com and the reservation should be made trought the hotel website also. It is the only hotel in Accor group where I didn't feel welcome as a guest. I have booked 2 rooms and at check-in I have asked for the upgrade as a silver member benefit, but I only got upgraded for 1 room, not both. The welcome drink I was informed it is only for the member and not for the other guest staying in the room. The hot water was running only cold, in the lobby area it was freezing, the food was not available to order for dinner or snack. Some other guests I met there were complaining about the heating in the rooms which was missing and the housekeeping services. Related to housekeeping, I had hair on my bed sheets, which I took photos, but next day I forgot to show it to the staff there as I was in a hurry to leave. When I discussed with the receptionist about member benefits, he told me that my membership doesn't count as I am silver member, and even not diamond has many benefits there. I have asked if the discount for F&B it is applicable because we used the drinks in the lobby, but he even didn't know what I am talking about. I am wondering how the same hotel group can apply different policies to its members. And how this hotel can be Accor hotel, it is impossible for me to understand. The only good thing there was the breakfast, with a wide variety of food and a very kind and sociable waiter. Anyway, I am sure that this hotel is not on my come-back list.

If you may please check the members benefits on all accor website on silver level.My colleagues gave you more benefits than you were entitled to according to your status.Only from Gold you can get free upgrade and drinks.Also the benefits can be used only of the card holder.You should try to make the reservation again with one adult+1 child maybe there were some maintenance services.Also please check the child pollicyes.
