Pulling up to the hotel is a statement in itself, such an amazing building! From the first member of staff you encounter to the last, they provide an exceptional service. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly, we stayed as Fairmont Gold members and this experience was one I would highly recommend, particularly the view with the evening drinks as the sun is setting. We did choose to have our breakfast outside of the gold lounge as the tables in the club lounge are low to eat a full meal from, plus the it's nice to be able to see all food options on offer in a buffet style as well as a more extensive coffee offering in the main breakfast restaurant. However during peak times, I can see how the gold lounge offers a sanctuary away from the breakfast crowds. What was noticeable is that the service remained at a high level at the gold lounge and the breakfast restaurant, therefore showing this is the hotel service throughout. It's a quieter location to enjoy the views as well as a relaxing break, plus the hi tech rooms are a real experience!
