I would like to extend my appreciation to everyone, especially the one who took our reservation, Sylvia and the front desk, Ivan. They were very welcoming and they attended to our every need during our stay both of them also prepared to welcome us in the room with cakes and balloons as part of our anniversary celebration they made our stay very memorable and I would highly recommend Fairmont Doha to all my friends and family. We cannot wait to go back and have our staycation again in your hotel.

Booked to enjoy my birthday which I had mentioned during booking and to my disappointment it was not acknowledged. Also the FO team attitude was not the best and left me disappointed as they didn’t even acknowledge my Loyalty membership status. Also Being an ex Fairmont Brand colleague and Trainer and knowing the standards I was totally disappointed by my experience here. The only good experience I had was at the pool as the team truly exemplified the Fairmont ethos so effortlessly.

The check-in process took more than 40 minutes despite our arrival after 3 PM. We found damp stains on the carpet. Cigarette butts inside the room next to the balcony door. My wife had requested a cake and roses, and although the request was displayed on the reception staff's computer screen, they didn't provide it!. When I call reception, there is a delay or no answer, or the phone is always busy.

We truly regret the delay at check-in, the challenges in reaching reception, and most importantly the cleanliness concerns you encountered. Cleanliness is absolutely non-negotiable for us, and we are very concerned to learn about the condition of the room you described. Regarding the special amenities requested for your wife, I would like to sincerely apologise for the disappointment this caused. The amenities had been prepared and arranged in the originally assigned room; however, due to a last-minute maintenance issue, we had to change the room allocation. Unfortunately, this resulted in both the delay in room readiness and a breakdown in communication, leading to the amenities not being transferred to the room in which you eventually checked in. This is certainly not the experience we intended for such a special occasion. Your feedback has been shared with the relevant teams, as it is vital for us to address these gaps and improve our service standards. Wow. That is the word I would use to describe our stay at Fairmont Doha. We had an absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish. The service was not just 10 out of 10 — it was genuinely 11 out of 10. Every member of staff we came across was warm, professional, courteous and willing to go the extra mile. The level of hospitality made us feel truly welcomed and looked after. I have been travelling for many years, and I can honestly say this was one of the best hotel experiences I have had. I am very glad we chose Fairmont Doha. Everything felt beautifully done: the room sizes, the cleanliness, the lifts, the food, the location, and most importantly, the staff and service. We stayed in two different rooms, including a suite, and the experience was consistently excellent in both. The attention to detail, the comfort, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel were outstanding. Fairmont Doha really does feel like a special place, and it left a lasting impression on us. A couple of small points to note, only because the overall standard is so high: The electric toilet seats were slightly inconvenient, as they kept opening and closing automatically. It is not a major issue, but perhaps something worth reviewing. Also, the in-room coffee machine did not quite match the otherwise excellent Fairmont standard. Initially there was no water in it, then no milk, and even after this was corrected, the coffee itself was not at the level one would expect from such a high-quality hotel. In some ways, a simple kettle and a more reliable hot-drink setup may actually work better. These are very minor observations and did not take away from what was otherwise a truly exceptional stay. Overall, Fairmont Doha was outstanding. The hotel, the rooms, the food, the location and especially the staff made our stay memorable. I would happily return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury hotel experience in Doha.
