This is a really nice hotel in the old town. Getting on the hotel is a little tricky but worth it. You drop off your bags and then drive your car to a secure car park a few minutes walk away. We had a large room which was expectedly dark as this is an historic building. The hotel has blended the old with the new very well. The only downside to the room was that the bathroom was quite old fashioned and basic. It needs an upgrade. There is a very nice courtyard and swimming pool. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced with pleasant service. Again breakfast was well done. Check in and check out were easy with very friendly and helpful staff. If you are Figeac then this hotel is a very good place to visit.

One of the most amazing hotels that we have stayed at. This is a must for anyone travelling in the Lot region. The hotel is remarkable, a historic building in the centre of Figeac. On many levels with surprises and delights around every corner and through every door. There are lovely courtyards, small perfect gardens, a pool, places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Our room was enormous with every convenience, huge bed, fridge, spacious bathroom, and - at the time of our visit - adequate cooled air conditioning. (See note below) The restaurant is superb quality although the demi pension menu is a little restricted. The Maître d was very accommodating on this point. A superb meal with reasonably priced wine. The staff members we encountered were very professional and friendly. The parking arrangements are not ideal although normal for a hotel in the centre of a historic city. Direct vehicular access is restricted; no complaints, this is entirely to be expected and the staff go to great lengths to assist with bags that can be dropped at a brief stop at the hotel doors. The parking garage is a short (BUT be aware a very steep) walk away. Less able guests should take care. It would be helpful if the hotel made this clear on the website / booking details. I'm sure that arrangements are in place to assist less able guests. Air Conditioning. Worked adequately to cool the room during our stay. The AC is advertised on the web site / booking details with no caveats. In this case "with cooling function". However, a note in the room confirms that it is centrally controlled and may be on either heat or cool mode. Some clarity around this on the website / booking details would be useful so that an informed choice could be made.

Hotel easy to find on GPS. Reception staff came out to greet us as we pulled up in car at front. Narrow street so cars backed up behind us. We left our luggage and drove to the secure locked car park. We walked back - the short cat a few minutes back to the hotel. The hotel is beautiful in keeping with the decor of a medieval character. With timber beams and furniture was amazing. The bedroom was large and verandah overlooked the street we drove up as well as the rooftops of the old town

Had a lovely stay here. The staff were all lovely, a very nice room in a truly historic building in the centre of the old town of Figeac with a small but very nice garden. The restaurant was truly superb in the evening too. Definitely the best Mercure I| have stayed at.

Très belle bâtisse, belle chambre, l'accueil est à revoir, manque de conseils, manque de personnels, impossible de dîner sur place. Personne au bar pour servir. Lors de notre arrivée personne ne nous a conseillé de réserver le dîner, le lendemain impossible de dîner car pas de place. Impossible de disposer d'une place moto dans le parking.
